I was reading an article on robots recently, and it mentioned that robots are getting a lot more sophisticated. That immediately got me dreaming about buying a robot to do some of my least favorite chores.
That's gotta be pretty expensive though, right? It got me and Bee talking about how much would we pay for a robot that could cook and do the dishes.
What do you think?

I wouldn't pay that much because I have a dishwasher and both my husband and I can cook fairly well.
It would have to be under $500 for me to consider it, lol.

I'd pay maybe the same I'd be willing to on a car... probably up to 15k for something that did all the household chores like laundry, dishes, occasional meal making, ect. I can imagine how much more time I would have to focus on things I actually want to do if I could have that! We could never afford that now and probably don't need it either, but 15k seems pretty fair for a robot that can do all that!
DH and I always talk about one day having a part time person handle chores and such (like way in the future) and the salary we'd pay for that person would be way more than 15k and we wouldn't have to worry about it getting tired or feeling appreciated so it'd be way better to have a robot instead 
! The only thing is I assume, like a car, it would need maintenance I'd have to pay for and probably be the kinda thing you replace eventually like any other household machine.

No offense to AI, but I would prefer a FT human housekeeper. If only that wonderous person was in the budget.

Meh, I enjoy cooking and DH doesn't mind the clean-up. Can I buy a robot that goes to work for me instead?

A LOT. We had this on vacation a couple of weeks ago and I cried the first night we were home and I realized I had to meal plan/go shopping/cook for the week. Yes. Cried. I hates it.
