shave your legs in the winter?
c'mon, guys, let's be honest here.
I really only shave to the knee and not as often as I should.

Not even gonna lie.... About once a month, if that. Rofl! I still keep other places groomed, but I hate shaving my legs.

in the winter about once every two weeks and only till the knee also...i feel bad for DH...
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
Ummm... maybe every two weeks? And I never shave my leg above the knee in the winter.
pomegranate / 3863 posts
Every other week? DH says he doesn't care and so I take full advantage. I hate havbing hairy legs though so I try to do it once a week.

Not much. Especially since last winter and this winter I'm pregnant, so it definitely gets put on the back burner.
honeydew / 7909 posts
At least once a week. Not a lot different than being 37 weeks pregnant though.
pear / 1823 posts
Every other day and that's only because I use the pool at the gym. No one wants to see my hairy legs!

Once every 1.5 months. DH learned to get over it real quick when we started dating. I have eczema which flares up really badly in the winter.

At least every other day. I love the feel of smooth legs when I sleep!

lol I haven't shaved my legs in over 5 years!
yay for the hairless legs gene!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@lovehoneybee: my legs do feel smooth! I think because the hair is so long and fine. LMAO.
cantaloupe / 6146 posts
rarely..like only if I am going to wear something that shows my legs--there are winters where I have gone all winter without... but I'm not all that hairy and my husband can't seem to tell if I've shaved or not anyway.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
@sorrycharlie: Not mine! But I'm pretty lazy about it...I take a bath almost every night and put baby oil in the water. After a bit of a soak I can do a really quick shave with no cream or anything. Takes all of a minute.

Normally I'd do it a couple days a week. But at 36.5 weeks pregnant I feel like there should be a law exempting pregnant women from all grooming below the waist. That 'ish is difficult >:(.

@dc yoga bee: I can commiserate! I only shave about 3 times a winter because my eczema gets so bad.
kiwi / 659 posts
I used to shave every day or every other day bc I'm Greek & hairy! Now that I'm almost 7 months pg, I'm lucky if I do it once a week.... Or should I say DH is lucky lol
Eta: and never above the knee!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
every day, every other day, but only up to the knees (year round! :P)
pomegranate / 3160 posts
Oh gawd, not often at all. I'm up in MN so there's absolutely ZERO short-wearin' goin' on from like, November-April... I'd say maybe once every 2-3 weeks in the winter...and that's usually just up to the knee. Maybe full leg once a month? Gross. Haahah.
eggplant / 11408 posts
Um, I never shave above my knee year round.
In the winter, I do it when it gets itchy-so about once a week?
papaya / 10560 posts
i'm soooo lazy since i'm prego again. up to the knee like every 3 weeks maybe...and getting progressively worse!
cherry / 109 posts
I shave up to the knee about once a week in the winter. If I'm really lazy I'll go about 2 weeks between shaving.
persimmon / 1128 posts
Full legs, everyday. I blame my older sister who taught me to shave and said it had to be everyday and it was gross to stop at the knee.
persimmon / 1328 posts
Haha, I feel so gross, but it is seriously like once or twice all season. It depends on how long until I gross myself out vs how much I like the added warmth at the time. I prefer long leg hair to scratchy stubble.
pineapple / 12234 posts
Omg. Once a month unless DH complains. It's so bad. I use to shave every day!!
