We go twice a week, divided between two different libraries. We only have a library card at one of them though!

Once a week for the storytime and extra play. We go across town to this amazing library - our local one is teensy and their storytime is once a week too late in the day for us. If the amazing one was closer we'd go all the time!

We used to go once a week for story time but now she goes to preschool

LO's daycare goes every Tuesday and Thursday for a local library's baby and toddler programs. We take him to a (different) library every weekend.

Wow I feel horrible...never taken DD to the library. DH took her once. She's almost 4! We read a lot at home but I never think to take her to the library!

We go at least once a week to check out books. More often if there is a program (art, story time, music, or play).

We were just there today after work!
Usually about every other week. Books are due back after three weeks so at least every three weeks.

@dolphin: You're not alone. We go to the library occasionally but I've never checked a book out because I can't handle the commitment of having to return it.

Never, I don't even know where it is. But in my defense, I don't speak the local language. My son goes to the school library a few times per week.

Every other week. Sometimes if it's a crazy busy week, I just stop in and grab a refresher of books for her. I WOH FT, and there is no programming for us, so it's less of an experience at this age, honestly.

@dolphin: same!
DH has taken him. All of the library activities (& every other community play group type things) are during work hours.

We go every week now I'm on maternity leave but, when I was at work, we never went at all.

DH stays home with the boys and they go every other week for story time. The one near us is not open on Sundays and it's hard to find the time to go on Saturdays right now.

Once a week. Each time we check out 8-10 books. at 4.5 years old we are reading level 1-2 books but our library doesn't keep a big stock of it (mostly YA / middle grade novels OR picture books). It is a bit frustrating because we are going to run out of books to read soon.

Weekly at least for storytime, often we go to another larger library in the local system that has a better selection of mommy books as well.

@dolphin: if I WOH I probably wouldn't ever take my kids (or myself) at all!

This week 2x a week. Usually it's only once. We just go to story time. So far we have not checked out books.

Once every 3 weeks. It's how long our library allows us to check out books. So we return them and take out new ones. He's obsessed with his library books, so he never wants to take them back!

Not really; our library is not all that great, not a big play area for toddlers and not that many board books. I think we'll go more when she's older b/c they have these ipad stations set up with a lot of cool apps.

We go about once every other week. DH likes to take DD1 on the weekends as a daddy/daughter activity, and I take her during the week to get new books and do whatever craft they have out. We used to do story time when she was younger (almost 3.5 now), but I got a little tired of it because it was so crowded every time. I'll probably start going again once I have DD2 while DD1 is in school.

I'm at home with my 19mo, so we take advantage of every storytime nearby! So we go maybe three times a week, sometimes more, to two different libraries.
