Charlie loves to have me carry him around! Bee says that he "herds" me; he will cut me off by running in front of me and then turn around and say, "Dada, carry me!!"
I've started saying no, just because he needs to work out those stubby little legs of his! I hold his hand and we run together... it's a great workout (for both of us, ha!).
How often do you carry your LO in your arms?

well, he's nearly 6 months so all the time

I nannyed for this one 3 yo who wanted to be carried all the time. But she had physical developmental issues and didn't walk until she was nearly 2 years old. We HAD to say no because she needed to build strength in her legs. She would throw herself on the ground and have a temper tantrum when we didn't carry her lol. She's 6 and okay now

My LO is three months old, but I really don't hold her an exorbitant amount. She does pretty well hanging out in her swing, her bouncy seat, under her play mat, on her boppy, etc. I only hold her when she is fussy or before bed and naps.

She doesn't walk yet, so whenever we're out and she doesn't want to be in the stroller or it's too short a distance for the stroller. Or if we're at home and I need her to go somewhere that she's not going. She's 25 lbs so I avoid it as much as possible.

I have been slowly cutting down because I am pregnant and shouldn't be carrying 30 lbs all the time. Plus, I want to get her used to less snuggle time with DD 2 on the way, sad as that sounds. But if I don't do it now I will regret it. I don't want to carry two kids all the time. I don't carry her a lot to begin with, but I used to carry her up to bed, for example, and I have cut that out since I'll have to carry the baby soon and DD will have to walk.
