I just painted my bedroom walls again and I was thinking that my duvet doesn't really match anymore, or could use a little more color to jazz up the room. But I really love my duvet cover and don't really want to spend more on a new one. We've been using it for about 2 years, so is it time for a new one?? How often do you change your duvet and decor?

We've had the current one about six months and I have been wanting to change it now. Can you use the duvet in a different bedroom or guest bed?

Ugh, never. This is one of my goals this year. I want to completely redo our bedroom. I feel like its the last place I put effort into because its the last place people see. But I think we deserve a super comfy space and I am going to get it done!

We used our last cover for about 3 years, but I typically switch things up more like every 1.5-2 years. We still haven't replaced it, just stopped using it cause it was so old looking, so our bedroom is complete wreck in need of major redecorating right now haha

We've lived together for 4 years and I've changed our bedroom once! But I love it now so it won't change for a while

We have had our current decor for almost a year and a half. We got it for our wedding and I love it so I think we will get another year and a half out of it at least. We are planning on buying new furniture soon though because that is all mismatched!

We got our bedroom linnens as a wedding gift in 2010, I don't see us changing it any time soon. DH would flip if I wanted to spend money on that again!

We got our current set for our wedding in 2010. I'm considering redoing it because our dog has been rough on it, but we'll probably wait a bit longer because there's so much else we want to do around the house first.

I have 2 sets of duvet covers and throw pillows/blankets. I switch them up a few times a year, but that's about it.

I'm itching to change up ours. The wall color didn't come out as soft as I hoped so I'm not really having luck finding q bedset I like

@anonysquire: Wow, 6 months sounds quick. I could... it matches the guest bed headboard really well. As crazy as it sounds, I bought it in 2006 before I even met DH (after loving it since 2003 when I caught it on a sale I couldn't resist) to finally use it when we bought our house in 2010 so I really want to keep using for a little.

It's been 2 years...I'll give it another year before I start looking for ideas. I love our room so If I don't find something amazing then we won't change anything.

@PurplePumps: Well it's stuff from our wedding that I picked out like 6 months before the wedding date, so it's been more than a year actually. Anyways now my style has totally changed!

We got our bedroom bedding/decor with wedding money so just over a year ago. We don't plan on changing it for a while.

Wow! I guess I rarely change things! We have two duvets on our bed right now. One is ~ 6 years old and I still love the set.
The other is about 1 year old. We also have a 3rd set that's only about a year old, but it hardly gets used because I still like the other ones!
Our furniture is 2 years old and I still love it. Can't imagine changing it for a LONG time!Oh and the paint color - it's the SAME exact paint color from our previous place we lived! After all the swatching I did, I still loved the same paint color - so we're going on about 4 years of that color!

Like every 6 months. I have a bad habit of changing things and rearranging. I'm kind of hard to please.

I've had the bedset we're using I think for like 5 years... maybe more! We thought about getting something new when we got married, but decided what I had pre-DH still worked & fit for what we wanted for our bedroom.

Never unless something rips. I ask the hubby once in awhile if he'd like a new duvet, and his response is nope.

We haven't yet and have been married nearly 3 years. I love our duvet so much though! We are kinda changing our bedroom decor right now- we bought a new bed frame and headboard and come summer I think we'll paint our bedside tables and dresser. We're finally gonna hang some art on the walls too.
