I'm ashamed to say that today I cleaned my baseboards for the first time since we moved into this house a year ago! I want to start doing it more regularly so that it's not a big production every time that it has to be done.
E's birthday party is at our house on Saturday so I'm in major cleaning mode!

Only when I get into my deep cleanign mode and notice how gross they are. It's been over a year since I last did them when I was nesting!

We just moved and as I taped the trim to paint I cleaned each one! If I'm cleaning/dusting a room I usually do it then when I have the cleaning products already handy

Don't feel bad! I think I cleaned the baseboards once or twice in my last apartment...and I lived there for 2 years!!
We moved into our current apartment 4 months ago and the only time I cleaned them was right when we moved in.
I vacuum along them weekly, but never scrub them. Oops.

Really not often enough. Just did it though since we rearranged a bunch of furniture and got some new flooring.
My new goal is to use the shop vac hose on them more often so I have to do the wet rag less often

Never. oops. They got clean when they were painted about 3 years ago. It's just not something I think about cleaning.

Okay this thread has made me feel SOOO much better. I was just wondering if it was something that normal people do every month. I'm relieved that that's not true
I think maybe I'll try to clean them at the beginning of each season. We'll see if I can actually stick to that once #2 is here haha.

I clean them biweekly with a swiffer duster, but they get a better more thorough cleaning only a few times a year.

maybe 3-4 times a year. I run a dryer sheet over them and it collects the dust + makes them have anti-static quality so less dust sticks to them. (thank you pinterest for that tip!)

Dang, I feel so on top of things reading this thread- only 1-2 times a year... some rooms never
