So I moved to a new area and went to drop off some dry cleaning today. They charge $22 to dry clean a winter jacket (it's hip-length, not even full-length)!! Is that normal? For some reason, I feel like I was charged half that where I lived last year.
Also, how often do you dry clean seasonal wear, like winter jackets? I usually do it once at the end of the season and spot treat myself at home as needed. On the flip side, how often do you dry clean things that are worn more regularly, like dress shirts? I'm a SAHM right now but my husband wears dress shirts to work every day and those things can really add up! Dress shirts are typically around $1.50 each here but I was charged $2.50 per shirt today because he said I only brought in two so the rates go up!! I've never had that happen to me before but maybe that's normal?
(Wasn't sure where to put this in the boards - sorry about that!)
