We did a newborn session with LO, and then family photos when she was about 7 weeks old. We will probably do them again around 1 year old. I'm curious how often others get professional photos done during LO's first year. What about after their first year?

We have a package which was maternity, newborn, 6 months and 1 year. We will probably get 1 professional picture taken a year once LO is 1.

family pics at 8 months - these didn't turn out well So we did:
family pics at 10 months
and we're doing photos at his 1st birthday party.Not sure when we'll do them again after that. We'll probably try for once a year?
It helps that my SIL is a photographer, but she lives 6 hours away.. She takes a few photos whenever she is here (and does a full shoot if we ask) but that's only a few times a year. She did the pics at 4 and 10 months. Otherwise we hired someone for the rest.
