Our families are far away, so we actually don't get to see them that often...

DH's twin bro & co live 30 mins away. We hang out with them maybe once a month at most. The rest of his fam live out of state. So maybe we see them 3 times a year.
My fam is in CA.
We see them.. 3-4x a year. It kills me that traveling with LO is such a pain. Otherwise I'd be out there once a month!

we usually see atleast one of our families every other weekend. All of our brothers, sisters and parents are either one hour west or one hour East of us. Close enough that we can see them often but far enough that we have our own space.

Almost never either since they don't live close by.

We see my parents every month or two. They live 2.5hrs away. We haven't seen my inlaws and one of dh's sisters since our wedding in October 2010. His parents live in Florida and don't travel often. We don't really talk to his sister. We see my brother and dh's other sister about 2x/year.

I see my MIL at least once a month since she's close by, otherwise, I probably see my family couple times a year. Definitely, not a enough, but we do Vchat a ton, which helps!

I see my parents about once a week because they live an hour away. I see my sister whenever she is home from college.
We see my in-laws about 3-4 times a week since they only live 5 minutes from us.

Every few months for both of our families because we live in a separate state. My husband's family is closer so we see them more.

I see my parents about every 6 weeks since they're nearby in Milwaukee. We see my inlaws about once or twice a year.

I see my parents once a week...In-laws once a week...I see my brother (who lives FIVE MINUTES away from me) a couple of times a month...
My parents and inlaws live only 25 minutes from us.

I only see my mom about 5-6 times a year but talk to her on the phone an average of at least 1 time a day. We see my in-laws at least once a month. I wish that I saw my mom more often.

We hardly ever have a chance to hang out with my husband's family. We flew his mom here five months ago so we could spend some time with her and since she's never been to Japan. My mom comes to visit about twice a year. My sister came once this year. We never hang out with husband's brothers though, even when we go back to the states for a visit. Both of our families are spread out all over so its hard to visit everyone while we're there.

We probably see my parents 2-3 times a week. (More now that my migraines have gone crazy and my mom is having to help more ) and we see my inlaws once a week.

My side all live about 20mins away, and all my SO's side lives about 45mins away. On average we see them all about once a week, some weeks we are lucky to see them more and other times it can be a few weeks. All the siblings have children so we all make an effort so the kids get to spend time together. I feel really lucky that we are all so close by and can see them as often as we do!

we see our in laws every 2 months or so? we see my family about once a month or so. maybe more? they live closer.

I see my family a lot in the summer because my parents own a beach house that is only a 2.5 hour drive from NYC, so we spend most weekends there. DH's family, unfortunately, we only see a few times a year since they live a plane ride (or 12 hour drive) away. I'm hoping they finally come visit us when we have kids, because it will only get harder for us to go out there!

We usually see either set of parents every other week. I try to make it a point to see my nieces at least 2 times a month. We all live within 30 minutes of each other, so it is easy for us to get together on a weekend day to spend time together!

we have East Coast relatives that we hang out with on major holidays and for our kids' birthdays... it comes out to about 5-6 times a year.
for our West Coast relatives, 1-2 times a year, if that.
