Every 2-3 months as well- and only because I have one friend who is so good at scheduling them! We do it when the spouses are home to watch the kids, so your schedule would definitely make it a lot harder. Would you guys want to switch off going to each other’s houses so one of you wouldn’t need child care? Pick up take out and enjoy after bedtime?

Like never...not cause I can't find the time. Mostly cause it's so hard to coordinate with my friends. We are all so busy. We talk on the phone though. Some of my friends come over with their husbands and we hang out every two weeks and that's nice.

@SweetiePie: you are like my one friend who always initiates the outings. She does it with our group, but I know she also has other friends she meets up with, and does couples dates... she’s just really social and great at planning. I just do my best to show up when she suggests

Not enough! So many friends (including me) have little kids and others have moved out of the city. So maybe every other month? But we do try to have dinner with couple friends once a month which is fun too. I used to have a lot of single friends I had dinner with but everyone is settling down!

I almost always do 3 nights a month, one for book club, one for a different book club that has morphed into more of an outing club, and something ad hoc like a concert or drinks. We have a babysitting co-op with neighbors, so we often don't pay for sitters (except with our time!).

Every 2-3 weeks, 3-4 of us get together after kid bedtimes and do one of three (cheap/free) things: Starbucks, fire, or swimming (we live in AZ.) Also once every couple of months I will have some kind of ladies gathering but not necessarily at night.

I used to also have another monthly ladies night through church but lots of core attendees moved away.

My husband is a teacher so he never really travels. He has a 2nd job where he works from home, but it is flexible. Given that, I haven't paid for a babysitter.

I'd like to every 3 months or so but in reality it's been once about every 6 months... so like twice a year. How pitiful. LOL. but as the LO's get older I hope to increase ladies night significantly. Right now it's just not in the cards since I put both to bed... besides I'm too tired to be any fun anyway.

Almost never. DH works many nights and weekends and we didn't live near family for years. And never found a babysitter we clicked with. Now we have family as an option but we are currently prioritizing date nights, since we have had so few, and I hate asking our parents to babysit regularly (since they all still work and have active social lives).

Some of my friends will come over while DD is napping on the weekends just to hang out, since they know I am stuck here though. So that has been nice.

Probably once every few months... One group of gf's will try to do dinner and a chick flick every few months; this past weekend we went to a country concert.
Last year we started 'night floats' with kayaks on a nearby lake, so fun, so will hopefully do that monthly once its warm (full moon nights).

I have another group of girls from school and we usually get together with kids, I host a pinterest party yearly before Christmas, and we're getting together next month just cuz. Those are day-events though.

I'm the one who always plans it with my friends. I wish it were once a week but our prefered times/ free times don't line up for that. So it's once every month or two. We do hang out with the kids often and as families with the kids kind of regularly (it used to be more regularly but now there's just too many kids).
