Hellobee Boards

Not often. We don't have anything really close to us and don't know our neighbors all that well. When we do see people, it's kind of a shock.

@lilteacherbee: haha. Yeah my DD's preschool teacher lives in our building. It's huge though (40 floors high, with hundreds of apts), so we don't see her that often, but when we do (outside of school), my DD gets shy all of a sudden... Sort of like she doesn't know how to react to seeing her teacher at home... and one time I think it was a little weird for her teacher because it was obvious that she was going out. she was dressed all fancy and not in her usual teacher/casual clothes. I thought it was great for her, but she seemed embarrassed

I miss that about NY. I used to bring our dog to prospect park every morning. We would always run into people who recognizes him other times on the street. Even now, when we visit, we'll always run into people we know.

We run into someone we know almost every time-- even if it is just the people who work at the coffee shop or grocery store. I am so thrilled to live in a sweet, walkable neighborhood-- I often joke it is like a Sesame Street style community!

All the time; I live in a pretty small town.

I live in my home town, but still not that much. I do live in a smaller community now so if we go to events downtown we always run into people we know neighbors, people who we met at breakfast that morning, etc. People always remember us because of our pup and lo.
