We see inlaws (20 min drive) every week or every two weeks usually. We usually see them at their house or our house, regardless MIL always cooks dinner, because that's her thing. Sometimes we'll eat dinner out.
We see my parents daily during the week since my mom watches DS. We probably do an actual "dinner out" once a month or once every couple of months!
We see my extended family who are all nearby probably a handful of times of year for holidays/special occasions.

We see my ILs 1-2 times a month (40 minutes away). Usually we go to their house (they have a huge wooden train set) but occasionally they come to us.

The hosts rotate. We actually never have hosted-we don't have the seating and such for it

Usually once a week. My parents live 40 min away but that's not that far for this area ( it's very spread out) and my brother and his family live a few miles away.

My ILs live 5 minutes away and we see them at least once a fortnight, if not more. They used to come to ours a lot but now we go there more as they have a huge home and DS loves to run around in it!

My family lives 20-30 minutes away (depending on traffic) and we see them 1-2 times per month. My ILs live about an hour away and we see them every 1-2 months.

I only have one relative, an aunt, that lives within 20 minutes. She's never met my 2 yo LO. I guess I should be hosting.
My brother and his family are 45 minutes away and we try to see them at least monthly but daycare colds get in the way frequently.

My parents live 20 min away and we see them almost everyday because my mom watches LO while we're at work. DH's parents live 45 minutes away and we see them 1-2x a week (usually on weekends).

We see my older sister and her LOs 2-3 times a month and it's pretty evenly distributed between her house, my house and somewhere else. We see my little sister about once per month, usually at my house, my older sister's house or we go out.

Every week or two. Often very informally. Sometimes we pop by the grandmas for a quick visit, sometimes we meet the aunts at the pool, sometimes we have everyone over for dinner.

Only local family is my brother, and he lives about 30-40 minutes away who's a surgeon with a busy work schedule. We see him every 3 weeks or so, and he usually comes over (LO is 3 months).

I drive to my parents house (45 minutes, no traffic) once a week to visit. I drive to my ILs house (35 min, no traffic) every 2-3 weeks. Where we live, that's not a huge commute, so I consider them "local".

My Mom I see 2-3x a week, she comes here a lot- but the babe is 3 1/2 months before it was 1x a week. She and my dad live 20 min away. I see him 1-2/mo. My inlaws just bought our old rental 20 min away so they have been busy working on it, we have not seen them much. The usual is 2x/mo. My BIL, SIL & nephew live 40 min away we see them a few times a year.
Activities/hosts vary greatly. My folks have a pool so we spend more time there in the summer.

My local family is 45 minutes away. We get together twice a month. Typically we do something together (an outing) versus going over to someone's home.

We see MIL nearly every Wednesday for dinner out at the same little Italian place. We usually see my parents and/or MIL every weekend as well. We generally host, but it also rotates.

My parents are 45 mins away. We usually go to their house or other families (who ever is hosting) since we are the only ones in the city and they all live within 20 mins of each other.
We offered to host Father's Day but my Dad wants to host it so he doesn't have to drive. Boo!
