We have brunch or lunch with my IL's maybe twice a month or so, with an afternoon into evening Sunday visit maybe once a month. We adore them, and I think it's just the right amount.
Do you see your IL's often? Do you wish it was more or less or just right?

I see my MIL about twice a week, FIL about once every two months...he lives BLOCKS away but is antisocial!

They live in Ecuador, so we will probably only see them every couple of years. The last time I saw them was in 2010. We will try to visit Ecuador sometime in 2014.

I see them about once a week or every other week. DH sees his dad more often tho. It's fine the way it is. We've distanced ourselves from them because of MIL's actions.

Not that often - maybe 2-4 times a year, though I suspect we'll start seeing them more once our LO is here because we'll be taking them up on their babysitting offers, haha.

We usually see MIL about every two weeks or so. That's fine with me, we get along pretty well. We haven't seen BIL since Christmas though.

Lately, not that often. We did see them last week though. They live about 2 miles away but we have some issues so it's better if we don't see them often. For my sanity anyway.

We see DH's parents every other weekend. Which, in my opinion, is too much. My DH only has every other weekend off and his parent's expect that they can visit EVERY weekend he is not working. Sometimes, we just want a weekend to ourselves! And if something comes up and they aren't able to visit, we are expected to drive 2 hours to see them! It's one thing when they visit, but a whole other issue if I have to spend 4 hours of our precious family time in a car!

My inlaws we see 1-2 x a year. We see my parents about every 4-6 weeks since they're a couple of hours away. We were just there this past weekend for my birthday. They have a crib and changing table, so it's easy to visit them.

Usually once a week...it's been like that since DH and I have been together (he's close with his parents and they live close by). I mind it much less now, as I know how much they look forward to seeing LO.

A weekend every 2-3 months, which is plenty for me. It is always us driving down there. Now that we have a house and LO will be here soon, I am guessing they will want to come up more.

Usually once a week but up to three times a week for my IL's. They live 10 minutes away. We see my parents once a week. Since the baby it has been family all the time. Sometimes it is nice sometimes a little much!

usually once a week - they're fantastic and we all get along so well and try to do dinners or just hang out at their house. Only downside is they're about 45 minutes away and 95% of the time we go to their house, so it's a lot of driving.

They live about half an hour away...we see them probably once a month, maybe every 6 weeks? It's plenty for me. We do all but maybe one or two holidays a year with them,

although I fear they will want to move in once their grandbaby arrives!

Usually weekly. We all live in the same town, have dinner once a week or so. We also run into them at the gym grocery store etc. We see my family a little less, they have a more active social life with their own friends and have less down time than my IL's.

Once a week during football season, my father in-law is a huge Redskins fan so we always get together to watch the game. Outside of football season maybe once every week or two, sometimes more, sometimes less. I used to really mind when we were first married, but now that I've figured his parents out I don't mind it as much!

My ILs fly in once a month and it's great not only to see them but also to have them babysit for a night, so DW and I can go out for a swanky dinner!

We saw FIL s & SIL twice last year and MIL once. I wouldn't mind seeing FIL more. We used to have a really good relationship and I think it's time we worked on it more. Once a year is really a lot for me when it comes to MIL.

My MIL lives with us, so I see her far far far too often. FIL isn't in the picture and I hope it stays that way. I'm lucky to see my parents once a month and they are only 30 minutes away I wish we saw them more.
BIL lives 2 minutes away and we see him once every couple of months, which is again too much for my books.
