We try to do it 2x/year for me, DH and DD. We do informal family pictures about once a year w/ my family and my in-laws.

We have never and I desperately want to.

Once a year since DD was born... I try different photogs out, trying to find the cheap but good one who gives you the images.

Since we had C, we try to do one annually.

We've gotten family portraits done twice since E was born and will have one more before he turns 1. (Nothing really fancy--studio photos...I got a Groupon for Picture People and one for JC Penney Picture Studios).
