We only go about once a month, but would love to start going more. It's a cloudy muggy day today, so I think we will go this afternoon and check out some books!

DH takes them once a week for their activities and story time. He doesn't like checking out books so I take the LOs 1-2 times a month for that.

About once a week. DD is in their baby time class seasonally, and it's just down the street from us.

we don't go as often in the summer because we're out and about as much as possible. but in the winter we try to go a couple times a month. we get a free book every 3 visits!

Once a week for story time. We'll probably go more often when he's a little older because it's two blocks from us.

We go between once a week and once every two weeks (with nanny LO)

Only few times. He doesn't behave very well there and it's stressful. He pulls books down, wants to get on the computers and runs around. Then throws a fit when I stop him. Sigh. 17 months old...

Honestly, I don't think we've gone yet. But DD is only 7 months, and we have a ton of books at home.
Plus, all of the classes are during the day, and we both work

Never, they pull all the books off the shelves and it ages me by ten years every time I love the idea of going though.

We go once a week. We just check out books since the library laser to me has story time for age groups, and my kids fall in different age groups...that doesn't work for me haha

@travellingbee: @travelgirl1: If it makes you feel better, I work in a library and those things are expected in the children's area. We don't get upset!!

We were going once a week all summer because of the summer reading program. Now that it is finished, I am shooting for at least every other week.

@MediaNaranja: I'm hoping to go more often when she's older and less destructive. She loves reading so much, she would get a lot out if visiting the library, I'm sure.

In my whole 10 months of mat leave, I only took her once and the library is a 5 min walk away. DH has been on parental leave 5 weeks and has already taken her 3 times. He definitely wins!

Our nanny takes him to baby story time once a week. It's so cute, they read books and sing songs.

Once or twice a week! It's a great change if scenery when it's too hot, too cold, or too rainy

We don't go. It's too stressful for me. But, I do want to start taking her to the library in my hometown whenever we visit. There's rarely every anyone there, so it's much less stressful and would give us something to do in a really tiny town.

@Weagle: This was my problem for a while too. I now pretty much exclusively use the online hold system. I can run in, get the stuff I've reserved off the holds shelf, and get checked out quickly. It has dramatically increased our use of the library and now we're there (for like 2 minutes, but with a huge bounty every time!) about once a week.

We usually go 2-3 times per month to play and check out books. Some days he can handle it, other days it's a mad dash to grab some books and get out of there before he destroys the place. Lol.
