Maybe once a month. Trying new things for us (me) means alot of research, substitutions, and usually more steps so I don't usually feel up to the task. lol

All the time, maybe weekly even. I'm a Pinterest-aholic so when I see something I want to try, I'll put it on my menu for next week!

I would say every other week I put in a new recipe, we have been getting really boring lately so I have really been trying new meals. With meal planning it has been easier I think to do this, no longer a last minute decision.

I have been trying to do it at least every 2 weeks. I really want to build up my "go-to" repertoire

a few times a week. i'm trying to use my crockpot more and make more meals at home, so inorder to not get bored i look through pinterest, cookbooks or magazines and then we do a meal plan for the week(well mainly M-F)

Thanks to Pinterest, I make something new a few times a week. I always have a problem recreating the same recipe... I always change it.

At one point I tried a few new recipes every week. I blame Pinterest. Now I'm too busy to sit down and figure out new recipes. I just cook basics (roast, saute, steam). The last two weeks I did try new recipes I found here on Hellobee, and they have been a huge hit.

I mix something new in every two weeks. It actually helps me develop my cooking skills to do that so when I go back to my usual recipes, I make them a little better!

Not nearly enough. Now that we basically only eact salmon, tilapia, and chicken I should find ways to be more creative with the proteins.

Every week, at least once or twice! I have two new recipes this week. a jalapeno popper chicken and a shrimp in lobster sauce recipe. Both are very easy, though. I save complicated, new recipes for weekends. These are pretty foolproof. We eat a lot of variety.

@MrsTiz: I stole the idea for stuffed shells from you...I need new ones!

all the time! I don't really have many go to recipes. I mostly make stuff up - fish with lemon butter sauce, steamed veggies, dinner roll and done. Pretty simple..
But I usually try about 1-2 new recipes a week. My SIL got me two new cookbooks this past year and I'm trying out a lot of the recipes!

@blackbird: I need you to make like a weekly meal plan for me, lol! In a thread a million years ago you posted about some potato wedges.. I make them all.the.time now!

@blackbird: Was the jalapeno popper chicken from SkinnyTaste? We ate that last night!
Since I found three food blogs that I love, and since the advent of Pinterest, we try several new recipes a week most weeks. Before that, it was pretty rare. I'm also on a tear right now trying new things to add to our list before our baby arrives since we won't be able to go out to eat often.

constantly...even when I make the same dish over and over, I try new recipes to see if it makes it better.

I usually aim for once a week. Sometimes I do more than that, but it really depends on the week.
