I use our umbrella stroller maybe once every two weeks?

When G was playing soccer we used it twice a week. Since we're between seasons I think I use it maybe once a month? I normally wear P so we don't use it much.

Not very often just when we go to the mall which is rare.

Maybe once a week? We go for walks with another mama and I usually use it, maybe about 50% of the time we go out other than our walks.

Never! I wish I'd known that before I bought an expensive one. Maybe when LO is older but right now I use the Beco carrier for everything.

Almost daily. M-F we use a stroller for drop-off and pick-up at the nanny share house. On weekends we sometimes use the stroller, but mostly use the carrier.

All the time. Probably 5 days a week. Running errands, going for a walk around the neighborhood, in restaurants.

Everyday. We take walks every morning. I get coffee and stroll her around to start our day (otherwise she would never let me drink my coffee in peace lol)

Seems like this would depend a lot on where you live. I live in the city, so I plan to use one a lot-- although I am also thinking about waiting to buy anything beyond a snap n go until I know more. But if you are in the suburbs and drive everywhere I guess it would be way less.

Most days especially now I've mastered walking our dog and pushing the stroller at the same time!

we are in a driving city/neighbourhood, but i still use the stroller about 5 times a week. we use it every time we go out, it lives in the trunk of the car.

Almost every time we go out - 5+ days a week. We don't use it if we're just going to church or a restaurant, but I use it every time I run errands or go to mommy/baby groups with A. I assume that we won't use it as much when he starts walking.

I'm planning to get the snap-in base and then just an umbrella stroller once he's out of the carseat because I can't imagine using the stroller much. We live in the 'burbs but we aren't really 'stroll around the block' people. I want the option without paying the big bucks.

Not very often anymore. Lo loves to walk and if were in a store she is in the cart. We put her in a stroller at least once a week for longer walks though.

All the time. We walk a lot plus we always take a stroller with us since LO has only been walking for a month and a half.

Omg, we have the UBV and while I love it, we baby wear so much that I secretly question if we really needed such an elaborate stroller....Hopefully we'll use it more when she's bigger! I have only used it 2 or 3 times to go to the mall and people hover over her and get too close so I quit it for a while!
PS: No one tell my DH I said this! I made the biggest deal out of the UBV being a MUST!

I'm trying to figure out what type of stroller we'll need, but I'm probably going to need to figure our our child-care situation when LO comes first.
We live in a walking city, but I drive to work every day and park in a garage after work. On weekends, we rarely ever drive. DH only drives on trips, because he takes the PATH and subway to work.
I'm wondering if we could get away with only an umbrella stroller if DH drops the LO of at day care in the morning, and I pick up in the car in the afternoon. Then we'd only be using it on weekends or at night? And on weeknights, we mostly just stay in.
But I guess you have to have an infant carrier/snap n go or something at first?

Almost never. DD has never been a big fan of the stroller so I end up wearing DS most of the time while she walks.

I'm sure as H gets bigger/heavier to wear, you'll use it more!@Anagram: you could get something like the UB cruz, which is lightweight and can be used from birth. or I think one of the maclarens (popular umbrella strollers) can be used with a newborn as well.

Almost every day,we live in the suburbs, but we hike a lot, walk the dog often, and I use it for errands most of the time. We also go to the zoo weekly. We didn't go super expensive though, we got the Jeep stroller for $175.
I'm sure as H gets bigger/heavier to wear, you'll use it more!Reply
