For newborn days - used A&D to help pre bet rash with most changes. Probably until 4 months when poops were less frequent. After that, a treatment cream like Butt Paste only when there is a rash.

Desitin at night as we don't change him, Vaseline at every other change, desitin plus polysporin/lotramin/hydrocortisone when he has diaper rash.

I do coconut oil at every change and use cream when there's an active rash

LO's skin is very sensitive, so we use it with every change. I can't bear to see his little heiny chapped.

I can't remember the last time I used it.
So only when there's a rash I guess. My kids have never really been rashy.

Only when there is an active rash but that is pretty frequently with my constipated little guy
I'm not sure we ever needed it on DD.

Pretty much at every change. We got some awesome stuff from the hospital that I love.

We use it at night and for rashes. I find using it at night really helps prevent rashes.

We just use it when he gets a rash. He's 18m old, and I think we're only on our second tube.

We have only used it a few times when he was on antibiotics and needed it. Daycare uses it a bit more, after every poop I think.

I used a&d at every diaper change for her first 18 months of life. No joke. Every single dipe. That's a lot of a&d.
Eta: she has only had one rash in her life (21 months now) and that was from a stomach bug. And she has incredibly sensitive skin.

Only when I see a rash developing. But I use A&D at almost every change.

In the beginning we did it more often because he would get lots of diaper rash. Now, only when there is a rash.

I put on a layer every night, since he sleeps through the night, and without a layer he wakes up red.

We did with DD every change
So far with DS I do only at night for his long stretches

With DS only if he had a rash. With DD pretty much every change. We like to use Aquaphor to create a barrier on her skin because she's really sensitive.

Rarely, only when they have redness which isn't often. I usually only use coconut oil too, but have sudo cream on hand incase.
