When she was younger once a week. She had a super messy period where we used soap every day. Now it just depends on how sweaty and dirty she gets.. 2-3x a week?

We bathe DD every other day and use soap every time, albeit somewhat sparingly. We also shampoo DD's hair at every bath as she has an awful lot of hair (like almost enough to put into a small ponytail at 13 weeks) and she has a wonderful talent of managing to get spit up in her hair all the time. Mmm, curdled milk smelling hair - awesome.

@winniebee: I only use shampoo on his hair maybe every 3rd day. That's it. The cloth diaper bum spray that I squirt on him cleanses his bum bum at each diaper change.
