My hair always looks better 24 hours after I've washed it.
I usually wash my hair every day, but when DH is out of town I'll wash it every other.

I am trying to go to every other day, my stylist told me over washing strips the toner from the highlights, making it brassy. The problem is we have hard water and that causes greasiness, but with shorter hair, I am coping!

I have really curly hair and although I get it wet and condition it every day, I only shampoo once a week. I find that getting it wet and running my fingers through helps distribute the oil without adding the drying factor of shampoo. And the conditioner keeps the frizz down.

Every other day, IF I use volumizing mousse when I blow it dry. It really helps me keep body in my hair and prevents it from getting greasy and limp.

Another greasehead here, gotta wash it every day! And in the morning! Or I'm a total greaseball. I also feel sick and feverish if I haven't washed my hair that day.
The few instances where I went more than 2 days (sick, post hospital, etc) it was disgusting. I'd put it in a ponytail and it would look wet all the time. I swear if I stood next to a candle my head would have exploded into flames.

@oliviaoblivia: @chopsuey119: I sometimes go that long! I use dry shampoo, but all that does is remove oil, it doesn't really clean it.
I'm embarrassed to admit that I have gone up to 6 days between washings. However, my hair is used to it and doesn't really get greasy or stinky. I promise.

Every day. I have thin, fine hair so I'm a grease ball by the end of the day. It doesn't help that I run my fingers in my hair a lot but I absolutely cannot stand having tangled hair.

My hair is thin and gets oily pretty fast, so usually everyday. If I am feeling lazy I can pin my bangs back and stretch it an extra day if I put mousse in it.

I am an every other day washer, I have really thick and plentiful hair, and it looks way more in control on the second day.

I wash my hair with conditioner everyday, then I will shampoo and condition it every other day. I have dry shampoo that I will use sometimes when I don't shampoo my hair in the shower.
