My husband and I are rarely apart, except of course when he's working. But since I haven't felt well after surgery he's been going to dinner without me. I keep telling him to go, it's nice for him and LO to get out of the house- why should they be stuck here because of me? He still feels bad about leaving me, but I really don't care.

DH always goes out with the LO on the weekends while I take care of household stuff. LO really can't stay in the house all day or else she goes stir crazy. It is nice that they get their alone time, too, since he doesn't see much of her during the week.

DH travels 2.5 days a week. The rest of the time he's home, working out or having short business meetings locally.
Once in a while he goes out with his guy friends, which I totally encourage! -
RJ and Rob Sr. go out usually every Saturday morning on their own either to the park or somewhere else to cause mischief. Usually on Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons we go out together or sometimes I go with them. It's funny when I go with them to parks because it's always dads with the kids and I have fun imagining what the moms are doing-- dishes, probably! or cooking dinner. I like to imagine them getting pedicures!

He rarely goes out without me, maybe every couple of months when he goes to a boys' poker night... but we're pretty inseparable.

Just this morning in fact he was talking about wanting to go to a movie that I didn't really care to see. I told him that he could go ahead & go & he actually got his feelings hurt..... said he didn't want to go alone. When I told him to see if any of the guys would want to go he said he wanted to go with me. It was sweet & I of course went to see it with him.
And I'm glad I did since it's probably our last time out for awhile. =)

DH goes out all the time. Usually Friday after work drinks and often once on the weekend. I think it's good, it gives me my alone time, and who knows how that will change once we have kids.

Almost never. He does things with his guy friends occasionally, and I always encourage him to go.

He golfs with his boys and has man dates with his best friend a couple of times a month.
But as far as drinks, dinners out - we usually go together.

Before I was pregnant it was rare DH would go out by himself but since I've been pregnant DH usually goes out once every 2 weeks for drinks with friends. I'm usually invited but prefer to have some alone time/time to sit on my butt and watch tv.

Um...next to never! Sometimes he will go to a friends but usually they come here.

We do things apart pretty fequently. He goes to sporting events with friends and I do dinner with mine. I would say 1-2 times a month we have seperate weekend plans. It's good for us, I like that we have seperate social lives but can still enjoy time together.

If it's a quick trip to the pharmacy or something, he'll go alone. Or if I'm at work.

When DH is off work, he likes to involve me in whatever he is doing. It's pretty rare that he will go out to dinner or drinks without me - usually it's only if I have plans with girlfriends.
