Surprisingly, my little 3 year old terrorist wakes up pretty happy these days. More often than not. This has not always been the case....through her late 2s she was pretty rough to deal with first thing in the morning.

LO 2 always wakes up happy and LO 1 is a grump on most mornings for 30ish minutes!

I don't go in right when he wakes up... he'll call for me when he's ready. Before that, I'm likely to get snarled at.

Always happy as soon as they wake. Though occasionally DD2 struggles with the nap to wake up transition and cries for a bit.

Most mornings he wakes up fairly happy...pretty snuggly, if groggy. The past week or two he's informed me he needs a diaper change right away, though. If he has a really bad poopy diaper (we've been wading through some digestive issues lately) he'll cry, though, until we get it changed, then he's snuggly. But overall he's not a morning crab like his mom and dad are

He is 19 months and wakes up happy almost every morning. It's sweet, he is so excited when we walk into his room. Naps I feel like he's usually more cranky although today he was happy.

In the morning? Never! They wake up pretty happy from most naps, though.

99% of the time she is happy and very snuggly when she first wakes up. She makes me laugh though, every.single.morning as soon as she wakes up she'll shout "I need some breakfast!". like, her eyes are not even open yet but she's already worried about food.

In the morning, my babe (4months) wakes up happy, but from a nap? Almost never! I can't figure it out and it makes me sad!

Not very often. She usually spends some time moaning and groaning, and when I go in to get her she immediately demands something (milk, diaper change, etc). Today she actually cried when she woke up, though, which is unusual, so I went in right away. She was fine, just grouchy. She's more likely to wake up happy from a nap, but even that is sort of rare -- usually when she wakes from a nap she just sits quietly and hugs or pets her stuffed animals for awhile, then calls to us when she wants to get out of the crib. So she's not *un*happy, but she's also not bubbly- chatty-laughing-happy, either.

Every morning! She springs out of bed the second she opens her eyes and calls for me straight away (which turns to wailing and banging on the door if I don't go straight in). The she's dancing, singing, running about and bouncing on our bed!

If DD wakes up grumpy that means she isn't done sleeping yet! Otherwise she is happy as a clam!

Nap time not always, but in the morning he is overjoyed everyday! Wish I felt the same
