The other night there was a brownout here, and my son ran to the cabinet to grab some matches and a candle. I told him, "What do you think you're doing??!" I feel like he shouldn't be using matches until he is older, and has been trained to use a fire extinguisher.

I realized I had no idea though what an appropriate age would be. I'm off to Google it but was wondering what your take was. Without Googling it, how old would your kids have to be before you're OK with them lighting matches without supervision?
