DD will be 21 months at Christmas this year. We're getting her a baby doll, some new sleep sacks and a random kiddie phony iPhone thing she picked up at Kohls last week and really loved. We agreed to keep it simple this year because she still doesn't really get it.

LO will be 13 months. We bought her a convertible car seat, sensory balls, and a small magnetic chalkboard with alphabet magnets on it.

@MamaMoose: She is going to love the magnets! DD can play with magnets for upwards of 30 minutes on her own and they make a great take-along toy. Most houses have a fridge that they can stick to and we often end up in the kitchen anyhow!

DD1 is 28 months and she's getting Magna-Tiles, which I bought in the summer with a coupon.
DD2 will be 2.5 months and is getting...Nothing?

L is 5 months and he will be getting hand puppets and a wooden hammer/nail set. (Obviously for when he's a bit older... )

He's 16 months and I've gotten him a puzzle, a wooden stacking train, a stuffed Elmo doll and the FP Little People Farm. I've been thinking about the magnetic chalkboard and really want to get him a play kitchen but D isn't really for it because of lack of space here. That might just have to wait until we move into a real house.

P will be 17 months and he is getting dishes, cupcake toy for his kitchen, a doll, a doll house (probably hshould wait til he is older but scored an awesome deal!) a cash register toy. and the boy is not getting anything more, we already went wayyyy overboard!!!

Xander will be 10 months and we got him the B. Zany Zoo!

Will be 9.5 months and bought her a toy phone (DH can record a message for when he is traveling), books, and kitchen (like the laugh and learn house, but a kitchen). It was a score at a consignment sale.

16 months and we got him a land of nod chair, a fisher price basketball goal, a recorder, a klean kanteen, a couple of books, diy latch board and some clothes. we had a budget of $200 and spent every penny.

Mine will be 15 months at Christmas, so far I have gotten him a bamboo dream blanket, new sheets, a learning tower and sorting cube. I will probably pick up some stocking stuffers as well.

DS will be 20 months, he's getting a play kitchen, and mostly books and puzzles from us. I'm sure other family will go way overboard with gifts for him!

LO is almost 18 months and were getting her the hugging Elmo doll and a chair for her (not the Anywhere chair, but similar idea).

ds is 1, we're just going to give him bday gifts from last month! (tho we are looking at a kidkraft kitchen for his play area!)

Ds will be 19 months and we got him a nice xylophone and a pea coat. His stocking will have a new straw cup, crayons, play doh, finger paint, little people and snacks on our $100 budget. I'm sure he will be spoiled by our families...

@mrsjyw: My DS is a Sept baby and I did this after his 1st and 2nd bday - saved some of them and let him open them for Christmas - I didn't buy him a single thing! haha

DD will be 11 months. She's getting FP LP Alphabet Zoo, FP LP Noah's Ark, pajamas, leggings, crayons, straw sippy cup, bath toys, My Little Pony figures, a look and find book, and some stickers.
So far...
Her birthday is just 3 weeks after Christmas, so I need to get going on that too -
She will be 14 months. I'm debating getting a play kitchen. I want to get her a chalkboard easel because now she wants to write on things.

Charlie will be 4 and will probably get a Transformers Rescuebot and Book. Comes out to under $15 I think cuz I bought it on sale.
Don't know what to get Olive yet... maybe a doll bed since she is really into her dolls lately. She is 26 months. Also some new books. Girlfriend is obsessed with her Elmo books but I'm tired of reading them!

@TurtleDoves: I will! She *loves* Elmo, so I'm assuming she will go nuts for it. She has 2 other Elmo dolls and we went to see Sesame Street live and the Sunny Days party with real-life sized Elmo, and she wouldn't stop hugging the person dressed as Elmo! haha

18 months at Christmas. She's getting some Mega Bloks, a Little People farm set and I gave in and bought her one new toy this year (the other two were craigslist finds this summer...) I bought her the Parum Pum Pum drum.
I have a couple of new clothes for her that I think I'll wrap up loosely, just in case she enjoys unwrapping things.

6 months. He is getting the Melissa and Doug Band in a Box, some 6-12 month clothes, an Eric Carle boxed set of books, and a convertible carseat.

Same as @Rubies! Magna-tiles for my toddler and not buying anything for the baby. We already have so many toys and books. I might just wrap up an old toy and have pictures of the baby 'opening' it for pictures.

@Mrs. Bee: What is it about Elmo that inspires such loyalty? My daughter (exactly the same age) is similarly obsessed.
My 26 month old daughter is getting a set of Keith Haring wall decals. I have a Keith Haring tattoo which she just loves to see, and wants one for herself. I've told her that she can have one for her walls, which seemed to satisfy her. She's going to be so excited.

@sarac: i have a theory that kids like the color red. plus his high voice is very attractive to kids.
i think the elmo phase tends to be short-lived though. it's the gateway to the character world. charlie then moved onto thomas, then dora/diego, and of course now it's superheroes and transformers.

He will be 22 months at Christmas and so far we've gotten him:
-a tent/teepee that we made (soooo excited!!!)
-some clothes that I ordered online
-some Grimm (Waldorf-type) toys for the stocking

-Melissa & Doug mailbox and construction truck that I got on sale a few months agoI think my husband is also going to look into buying a toboggan!

DS and DD (5 &7) are getting Disney Infinity and a few odds and sodds - board games, jammies, books.
DS (15 months) is getting the FP LP nativity set and a Jake and the Neverland Pirates toy.

8 months, and we are getting her a plan toys xylophone, plan toys pull along snail, a couple rattles, and some books. Oh, and I need to find a finger or hand puppet of some kind!
