How old was LO when you left them alone with your SO?

Pretty early on, but never for very long, because we EBF'd. But probably for a couple hours around 3-4 weeks, after I had pumped enough that if he needed to be fed while I was gone, Hubs could do it.

For a full day and overnight though was around 4 months when I went to a bachelorette party.

When LO was about a week old. I have never been worried about leaving her with my husband as I figured he had to learn to fly solo with her just as I did.

I went and got my hair done when she was probably 6 weeks old. Prior to that I didn't leave for extended periods of time only because she was nursing constantly and I didn't want to pump while away or jeopordize establishing my supply. Hubs was more than capable of taking care of her alone from very early on.

I think it was when my son was around 5 weeks old and my mom came to visit. We went and got our hair cut by my fave hair dresser!

I left him for about an hour when he was 5 days maybe so I could run to the store. After that, it was probably closer to 6 weeks when I started going back to the gym. DH didn't have him for a whole day on his own until DS was 8 months though.

Oh man, I don't even know..honestly, i'm not sure if he's had LO on his own yet.. if I leave LO with him, he usually takes that time to visit his grandparents who always beg to see LO..so i'm not sure if he's ever had him alone and kept him alone!

It was sometime during the first week. I think I went to Target. From the beginning, I've frequently left DH and DD alone together. (Early on, it may have helped that I was exclusively pumping, so she didn't need me there to eat.)

I don't even remember...like three or four days old? That period is very fuzzy...I never even thought about it though. He's just as much a parent as I am, and honestly he was a lot more joyful in the beginning than I was. I never looked at it as "leaving" my LO with him, more as him just being a parent.

    4 ish weeks.

By 2.5 months, he was/is alone several times a week with baby while I work.

@sotofamilia: I agree! ”leaving” lo with my husband was never an issue. In the beginning, though, neither of us wanted to be alone with him, we were both very anxious!

6 weeks? PP check and a few errands. in the early days it was just for 2-3 hours... then when DS got older it was 4 hours+ .... it wasn't until 14 months tho that DH was solo all day with DS

Around 3 weeks he would watch her for a few hours then at 6 weeks he would watch her all day. With our son he didn't solo watch him until 6 months.

A week old. DS and I had a mom date while DH cuddled with DD at home.

I think two weeks with my first, I had a college class to finish up.

I started ducking out for short periods of time once I was comfortable walking and driving (running quick errands, walking the dog etc) and went for my first evening out at around eight months (it was a disaster!). I think I also had my hair done when she was three months old. Miss A was EBF and a frequent feeder who hasn't ever taken a bottle so I was never too far away from her - she's still my wee sidekick!

Like 5 days? I went to Walgreens for some supplies (pads, tuck's pads) and then I proceeded to BRU because lo needed a lot of newborn clothing (I misguessed his size). DH said he'd go but I was like, "NO, I need to leave the house!!!" I had to come back at the 3h mark because my breasts were about to explode.
