About 4 months. I kept putting it off then I did not want to add another change on top my going back to work at 12 weeks, so we waited another month. It was pretty easy and he didn't have any issues. I was also getting a little wary of the RNP as he was moving around so much.

Our plan was for her to be in our room for a year. We moved her out at around 10 months in desperation, and everyone immediately started sleeping (relatively) better.

We were assured by the nicu doctors that he would be just fine in his own room so we put him there right when we came home. He has always slept better in his own space, and we sleep better too.

Shortly after 6 months. We were all happy with her in our room but around that time she started to toss and turn and seemed uncomfortable. From the first night we put her in her crib in her room she slept like a log. After we got used to her not being there, we slept better too.

11 months. We cobedded until he started moving/kicking. no one was getting a good nights rest. Plus I was going back to work so we figured we'd get him used to sleeping on his own for daycare purposes. I still napped with him occasionally though because baby snuggle naps are the best.

4 months. Was the perfect time for us. She was generally done to one night feeding and doing pretty well with putting herself to sleep. I wanted to do it sooner rather than later to try to avoid sleep issues that would lead to having to go sleep training/CIO. She's been in her own room for a month now and doing great. Sleeping 12-13 hours with one night feeding, doesn't need any rocking to sleep or other sleep aids other than white noise. I miss having her close since it signals the end if her being a newborn but ultimately have no regrets. It's awesome putting her down and having the rest of the evening alone with DH in our room where we can talk, watch tv, etc. without worrying about waking her up.

4 months? She was climbing out of the RnP so we had to move her to the crib in her room. We had to sleep train because she wouldn't sleep well flat on her back

    6 months on the dot.

Eta: but we had several reverts back to our room when LO was sick. I think she's been continuously in her too since 8idh months though.

a little after 5 months. she had transitioned out of the swaddle and gotten used to sleeping on her stomach and rolling all around in the crib at my parents house. she refused a nap in the cosleeper in our room the next day and that night she went into the crib in her room with no issues. super easy transition thankfully!

7 weeks. Our room got too cold for her and her room had a little heater. Plus, I was getting her up and going to the nursery for feedings anyways.

She's going to be one this week and she's still in the bedroom (we went from arms reach, to basinette, to pack n play, to co-sleeping around 6 months maybe)

2 months for DS, 6 months for DD. In both cases we transitioned them when moving to a new place with their own bedroom.

6 months and it was perfect for us. The transition was easy and she loved her crib once we moved her!

I voted other. L only slept in our room for about a week because my DH had to go back to work right away, and with him working 60 hours a week, him being woken up a million times per night while I fed baby wasn't good. So then for about a month L and I slept in the living room, but I still wasn't getting any sleep because L is/was a very loud sleeper and every little sound woke me up. So when he was about a month old I moved back to the bedroom, but L stayed in the living room because it was right outside our bedroom door and if he really woke up I could hear him quite easily.

But he moved to his crib in his own room at 3 months.
