And how old are they now? We just got our pup and have no clue of her age. She was taken to the shelter because she was a stray, and they said she was 2. The rescue got her from that shelter and they say she's 1. We're going with 1 1/2.

We got ours at 8 wks and and he will be two in October. I would love to adopt a dog but it was so nice raising ours from a puppy too. We have a yorkie and as a baby he was THE. CUTEST. THING. EVER!... He still is cute though

We adopted her when she was 10 weeks old! She's now 6 years.

One at I think 8 weeks, one at 12. The one who was older was returned because she had a hernia. Given that they paid for the first vet visit and any conditions found, and it was a minor problem, I don't get why they returned her. But we couldn't be happier that they did!

10 weeks and five now and 16 weeks and three and a half.

No clue! The foster group I adopted her from said the people who surrendered her said she was 4. My vet said she was probably 6 or 7. So if you go by the foster group, she'd be 9 now. If you go by the vet, she's 11 or 12. She's going deaf and losing all her teeth so I personally think she's at least 11.

We've had all our animals since they were old enough to leave their mamas...with the exception of Zeus, but he was still very young when we got him...just a few months.

Our pup was 8 months when we adopted him, and he'll be turning 4 in November.

He was around 1.5 when DH got him. His mom's friend couldn't take care of him anymore when her husband got sick.

12 weeks. She was already a hot mess of anxiety so I'm glad we got her before it got any worse.
ETA: I made up a birthday for her cause I'm cool like that.

The rescue group and the vet said he was about a year old, so we count the day we got him as his 1 year birthday. He's 10 and a half now!

1 1/2. He was a rescue. Now he's 4 1/2! Can't believe how fast time goes.
He was bought from a breeder as a baby and traded owners 3 times before us. Idk why because he's the most amazing, best behaved dog ever. So luckily his papers came with him. We know his actual birthday...February 21st which is also my due date!

I'm pretty sure he was 4 when we adopted him which would make him 7 now.

Our first was 8 weeks our second was 6 week. We rescued both from bad homes. They are 2 and 1 1/2 respectively. I love that they are so close in age. It makes their energy levels match for the most part.

Our family pet dog we got when I was 16 we got at 8 weeks. Our current pup we got at 12 weeks.
