Just curious! I know LO would love this, but he's not a stable enough sitter just yet.

I think it was around 6 months but I don't remember for sure.

i think i could have started when LO was about 6 months because he was sitting pretty independently by then, but in reality he didn't sit in the cart until about 10 months because i usually do my grocery shopping on friday nights after LO goes to bed. i know, i know, my life is very exciting and wild these days.

7 months or so. Pretty early - she was a little tippy at first. But she loved it so much!

@Pepper: haha, I read this as car instead of cart and was really confused. I don't think R is sitting up on her own well enough yet. She doesn't even tripod well yet.

About 7 months. He loves it.
I was so worried about him trying to eat the cart since everything goes in his mouth, but he hasn't tried yet. He just holds on and looks around.

Ha! I went a bit longer than most. She just sat in an Ikea cart at 14 months. First time! So cute. She held on to the sides and said "where whee".

I think I started with DS around 6 months. The seatbelt held him up pretty good before he could sit totally by himself.

Haha, I just let him for the first time at almost 18 months! He could have done so earlier, but I prefer to wear him.

5 months. He was early at sitting up. He was wobbly though so I used a cart cover for padding in case he tipped.

We're at 6 months and I think she'll be ready for it very soon, but haven't tried yet.

G is 6 months and I've been debating trying it out. She can now sit in pretty much any high chair as long as we pad her a bit, so I think I might get a cart cover and try it!

7 ish months. He loved it. I went around a few corners too fast and he fell over though
You can always prop LO up with a few extra blankets!

probably 7 or 8 months? At first I put something soft next to her to sort of prop her up.

The first time was when she 6.5 months. It was in a smaller cart though at Hobby Lobby without a cart cover. She really enjoyed it. Then when I tried the Target carts, she didn't like it. I needed a cart seat cover for the Target carts.
