LO is 9 months old so she isn't walking yet, but I'm curious when other LO's started walking. How old was your LO when they learned to walk?

I don't think DS is going to be even close to walking at 10 months! He is 23 weeks, 17 adjusted, and is not even sitting up unassisted or rolling from back to belly yet! I'm not rushing him though...it'll happen at his own pace

Mine is 12.5 months and still cruising along. No rush - it all happens in due time (and in the meantime he is easier to chase).

I can't believe they all walked so early!
@petunia354: I'm with you! M just started sitting unassisted about 3 weeks ago (she is 8 months now, although 7 months corrected I suppose). I'm having trouble imagining her crawling, much less walking.

So early!! We are not walking yet, but my nephew didnt walk until 13-14 months old. I can't believe all the 10 month olds- that is impressive!!

LO was pulling herself up and cruising along at 9 months that i thought for sure she would be an early walker.
But nope, it was only a bit before her 1 year date that she took her first steps unassisted. Then she had a bad fall at daycare and didn't want to walk for a couple of weeks. I would say at 13 months was she walking confidently and for a long period of time.

He started walking at 10 months. He had taken some steps and standing unassisted a few weeks prior

so many early walkers!! LO didn't crawl until 2 days before she turned 10 months and now at 2 days before 1 year she is pulling up but will *not* step at all, no matter if she is holding my hands or furniture. I don't know when she will start walking!

T is 12.5 months and isn't walking yet. He had been pretty cautious with this milestone.

Steps at 10 months, mastered walking at 10.5 and running at 11. He has always wanted to go go go though!

DS: 10 months
DD: not yet at 12 months, most people I talk to IRL say 13 months though so we are really working with her!

14 months. She's on the late end, but so was her mama, so I wasn't too worried. (I walked at 14.5 months according to my mom.)
She started taking her first few consecutive steps last week, and this week she is walking all the way across rooms and down the long hallway at daycare completely unassisted. Once she decided she was ready to walk, she picked it up quickly!

He took a few very unsteady, rather uncontrolled steps between me and DH two or so weeks ago (maybe?) but we're not counting it yet (he's 10 months).

My little guy didn't start until 13 months, then really started to gain confidence around 16 months.

First steps at 13 months, starting to walk regularly now at 14 months.

At 10.5 months, she took her first real steps unassisted.
She took her first 2 steps (just left foot, right foot) at home exactly a week before. At 10 months she took a step then jump at the in-laws. Now at 11 months, she's walking around and around all the time, faster, but not yet running.

I think O will be late! She just started somewhat holding herself up on all 4s at 8 months

M took her first steps at 11 months but did not start full on walking until 13 months. We really do believe her bout of pneumonia slowed that development down!

17 months. She would walk with someone holding her hands/hand for months, but didn't have the confidence to walk on her own until 17 months. I'm hoping that the next will walk sooner with a sister to help teach.... it killed my back to always walk with her!
