DS2 is just over six months and had a few days this week where he took two longer naps. With his new solids meals, nursing sessions, etc. two longer naps would work MUCH better for our daytime activities.
How old was your LO when they dropped from 3 naps to two?

not until 8/9 months for LO1 - but that's because he slept 7-5 only. LO2 I think it was also 8/9 months. He was a chronic catnapper until 7-8 months!

6 months. He took two 2-hour naps a day like clockwork until he turned 9 months old and it was GLORIOUS.

LO1 was around 12 months because he was a major cat-napper and always dropped naps late (he stayed on 2 naps until 19 months).
LO2 is 5.5 months and he'll probably drop to 2 sooner, but he's very unpredictable. Some days, he'll take lots of short 30 minute naps and other days, he'll take a couple long 2+ hour ones.
