DS is 11 weeks and baths are still a two-person job. I did his hair and hold his hands while DH pours the water and washes his body. I also wrangle any loose limbs that get out of the sling. Since DH travels a week at a time for work, I need to get comfortable bathing DS by myself, but I am definitely not there yet!

I think after the first month I felt confortable giving baths by myself. I just had to make sure everything I needed was right there, within reach. Also, LO liked baths, so it wasn't so hard.

I think after about a month, as well. I am not comfortable taking a bath with her alone, though. I prefer if my husband is around so he can get her out of the bath and I can get out w/o worrying about slipping.

I've always given her baths by myself. The only time it becomes a two-person job is if I am bathing with her like @mediagirl: said I have my husband hand her to me and take her out so that there's no slipping.

I gave LO his first bath by myself at like 3 weeks...DH was working late and baby needed a bath. It was definitely scary the first few times because I was terrified he would slip out of my hands and drown, but now I usually take over most of bathtime and we're fine.

Maybe about a month or so? I think I would have been fine before then, but we were both there for all baths, so it ended up being a two person job. We still give most of her baths together because we like it so much

The bath itself has been a one person job because it was too crowded otherwise. Dressing her afterwards was usually a 2 person job.

I find one person easier! I did LO just over 2w on my own. We're bathing her in our bathroom sink, and maybe because of space in the sink I find it easier......less hands in the way! Her hair is hard to do (full head of hair from birth and it's pretty much a mullet now, lol) but she's patient with me most times!

DH has almost always done her baths solo. The first few we did together more for the fun of it, but after that he took over that job and is the tubby master. She hates getting baths from me, Daddy does it so much better.

After LO was 2 weeks old and my husband had to go back to work, it became a one-person job. Soon, I became comfortable but my husband still feels nervous about it and LO is now 16 months old!

I've given LO a bath alone every single bath since we have had him and is almost 14 weeks. I have a puj tub and it is fantastic!!!

There was only two of us the first time...and once or twice when he was being particularly cute/happy and we both wanted to enjoy it.

huh I never thought of doing it two-person lol!! We've always alternated whose turn it is to bathe him.
Sometimes I'll take DS into the shower with me, and then DH will take him from the shower to get him dressed, but I still wouldn't consider it a two-person job.

It has always been a one person job here, too. I think when you have no +1 around you just do it!
