I was 9, LO was 6 months (lucky duck!)

I think I was on a plane very young, like under 4 years old. My parents wanted to go to Hawaii, didn't want to leave me, so they brought me!

I think I was about a month old, we flew to SF for my baby naming to be near family.

LO will likely be 4mo the first time he flies, an international trip too!

I was in grade 8 (12ish?) and flew alone to Florida with just a friend... her uncle lived there and it was his Christmas gift to her! (obviously adults were with us at either end of the trip)

I have no LOs but I hope I'll feel confident enough to travel with them when they come. My dad lives in Costa Rica and I go fairly regularly - I want it to be a big part of my children's lives as well!

I was maybe 4-5? My dad was a pilot but since I'm one of 6 kids, we didn't fly with him much until he went commercial when I was about 7. After that, we flew almost every holiday since my mom was a teacher and had the time off and we flew for free.

My LO has flown on 6, 2-3 hour flights in her first year. No international flights yet though, poor girl. Her first flight was at 3 months--just the two of us.

I think I was 5.. my DD was 15 mo and my DS was 8 or 9 months. I think?

I was 6 or 7 and it was from Korea to Michigan! My brother and I spent a lot of summers in Korea too during middle/high school. Aside from that, I didn't fly on my own or for leisure travel until 15 when I went on a missions trip with church.

DS was 8.5 months (2 hours)

I think I was 16 when I flew for the first time. I'm sure when I have a kid, they will fly for the first time before they are a year since my in laws live a 4 hr flight away and we typically visit yearly. After we have to start paying for flights, we'll have to see. I imagine a lot of driving vacations while they are between 2-8.

I'm pretty sure I was a baby. My dad was military and we lived away so I assume there was a flight to my mom's hometown maybe? Otherwise I remember flying when I was 6.

M has flown a lot since I lived away from my family until recently. She flew at 2, 5, 8, and 11 months! We will fly again when she's 18 months to visit my in laws.

I've never flown in a commercial plane! My dad has his pilot's license and has always had a small plane. I'm not sure when I first went in his plane- I'm sure I was young though. I remember going on vacations in his plane at 5 or 6.

I was 7 and my sister was 5 the first time we flew - parents took us to Disney. But I don't think I flew again until I was in my 20s.

I was maybe about 2 when I flew to Thailand with my mother and sister.

DD was about 18 months when we flew to Orlando to Disney and visit my father.

I think I was 6, and we went to Disneyland.

LO flew the first time at 8 months and again at 10 months.

I was 1 or 2. We used to go to Cali to visit my great grandma!

C hasn't flown yet. Possibly going to FL next May, so she will be 3.5 and the baby will be 8 months old!

I'm hoping early and frequent exposure will make him an easier/good traveler

18! My mom was terrified of flying, so we drove everywhere. Once I was on my own, I started flying. Was so afraid at first, but I grew to love it.

LO was 5 months old the first time he was on a plane. He was also on a plane when I was 20 weeks pregnant, and then again at 30 weeks. Not sure if that counts, though!

The first flight I can remember was when I was 7 and we went to Disney World.

My LO's first flight was at 4 months it was awful. Thankfully he's become a great traveller and I actually enjoy flying with him!

I was 17 and flew from England to France. LO hasn't flown yet, but she will for the first time at 11 months from England to Spain.

I was 3 (and moving to the US). LO was 4 months old. She's already flown twice (the second time at 8 months old). She'll fly again next month.
