As soon as I married my ex. I was 22, but didn't have DS until I was 25 (almost 26). It went away after we divorced and then amped up again when I married DH.
Now it's ridiculous.

As soon as I got married. I was 21, almost 22. We started TTC less than a year later, but it took awhile. By the time this baby comes, it will be about 2.5 years later.

Spose about 27 or 28. That's when DH & I were past our more selfish years & were definitely ready for kids.

Last year, at 27, right after I got married. We will probably have our first one when I am 30.

Around my one year anniversary, which was right before my 23rd birthday. We actually got pregnant while celebrating our 2nd anniversary!

I think 24ish right after I got married. I've always wanted kids though, but after we got married it was baby fever like woah!

A year or two after I graduated college I had a year of thinking it's time, though I didn't want to marry the guy I was dating so I knew it wasn't time. Then it went away for awhile, then it started back up in my late 20s and I had LO when I was 29. DH wanted to start trying right after we got married and I was the one to put the brakes on and say lets have a year of marriage first, which is kinda opposite to how we talked about kids when we first met.

@MrsTiz: me too. My dolls were my babies and honestly, since I can remember I've wanted to be a mom.

I never really got it. I guess you could say I have it now (AFTER getting pregnant).
I always knew I wanted kids "one day", I just never felt a pressing urge to have them right away. I'm also not the type to coo over every baby I see (pre-pregnancy...now I notice every baby in a 5 mile radius).
Anyway, one month after marriage, DH and I kind of joked around about being old and maybe needing to get started soon, since we got married at 32. The next month, we stopped preventing...and 2 weeks later, I had a positive blue line. It happened before I could really process everything...I REALLY thought it would take us 6 months or so, in which time I would wrap my head around the idea of being a parent.
But...the 9 months of pregnancy has gotten me a lot more ready. Interesting how that works out--must be the hormones, from a biological perspective. It helps that I have a wonderful husband that I think will be an awesome dad....that makes it all seem less scary.

@Anagram: I agree with you, I never really had it either. I knew I wanted kids in the future, but hadn't thought a ton about it. I do have it now that I'm pregnant though!
I only really started thinking about having a baby soon after my husband and I had several people pass within a few months of each other, and it reminded me how short life is, and how important family is, so I sort of reevaluated our goals. Plus DH has had baby fever since we got married, and at his last birthday he REALLY encouraged me to consider pulling the goalie, so I did, and we did

17?? I've wanted to be a mama FOREVER! I was 26 when DD was born.

I wouldn't so much say I wanted a baby as a child (not a huge baby person tbh) and a family with dh, and I knew that we wanted that almost since we met at 17! I was 22 when dd was born!

I would say around 30! I'm still 30 now and will have just turned 31 when she arrives!
