Not until after I turned 30! Prior to that I didn't feel any urge at all to procreate and was actually scared at the thought of getting pregnant.

My goal when I went to college was to find a man to give me "a ring by spring" and eventually impregnate me so I could fulfill my life-long dream and become a mother.

21, after we got married. We started trying right before our 1 year wedding anniversary.

I always wanted kids but my baby fever really ramped up after we got engaged - so 26? Rampant now though lol

I was anti-kids (for me) well into my 30s. It wasn't until I was 35 that I had a glimmer of desire. I think it came down to meeting the right person to have a family with.

Also, I'm a little nervous to tell people because I'm on the "young" side for having children in my area. Both of our parents and almost everyone I know waits until at least 30.

Some where around 25ish. I've always wanted kids so I started thinking about them as soon as DH & I were engaged. It really set in about 2 years ago and I finally got my first BFP this year.

I didn't even want kids when I got married at 28. But a few months after I got laid off at age 30, idk what happened but it just seemed like having a baby was the right thin to do at that time. I was 31 when I had DD.

31! i was never a very maternal person and a little selfish.

Probably started around 26, but it's in high gear now, and I'm 27. Ideally I'll have my first sometime while I'm 28.

Not until I was 33. I got married at 32 and the next year several of our friends got pregnant. One night DH and I were watching Life As We Know It and the baby was so cute we both looked at each other and said "I want one!" That was honestly the first time I really felt baby fever. I got pregnant that year and had DD at 34.

@MrsStormy, @Anagram: I am with you, I have always known I wanted kids, but "in the future." I got married at 31 and a couple months in I started thinking... hm, if we want two before I"m 35, we should get rolling! So after our delayed honeymoon I stopped BC. Fingers crossed it doesn't take too long!

Not even remotely feverish until 28, I wanted babies eventually, but wasn't interested until then. I didn't feel ready until 30 when my little guy showed up.

28, a few months after we got married. Definitely would have been earlier if we were married earlier.
