Not until I was in my teens actually, but it really picked up the last few years. I hope my kids get into reading in the next couple years!

I don't remember not loving books!

First grade!

I remember really loving the Ramona series when I was in third grade....and really diving into reading then.

Probably first grade. I have so many fond memories of losing myself in a book as a kid. Actually as an adult, too.

I don't ever remember not loving to read.

I can't really name a time. I loved books basically from birth. I insisted on learning to read before I started kindergarten. I do remember that "Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher" was the first book I stayed up reading until I finished it at like 3 am. And Stuart Little was the first chapter book I read on my own. My dad was reading me a chapter a night and I got impatient and just finished it myself.

My love for reading exploded when I was 8 or 9. I read my first Nancy Drew book and I was completely hooked. I used to read at recess (I was always kind of a loner) and one day I realized I had about four other kids from my grade sitting around me reading as well. I thought that was funny.
