Asking because we're relatively young (28) but 100% done having kids, and with most of our friends still in the dating/newlywed stage I'd like some more data! Multiple votes if you/your SOs are different ages.

We're definitely 100% done after this one is born, and D will be getting snipped, probably sometime next year (he just turned 36). I'm 30, and will be getting another IUD in the meantime.

I plan on getting my tubes tied with c section #3. I'll be 37 and DH will be 34.

We're 100% done after this. I'm giving birth on Monday and just turned 35. I've been pregnant 6 times, and hopefully this will be our second living child, so I'm emotionally exhausted and done with having kids.

We're 33 and 34. I have an IUD and my doctor won't do anything permanent for 5 years post-baby (so, until this IUD expires). We're comfortable with this for now, but will eventually have my husband snipped. I'll probably get another IUD anyway.

DH happened to be 44 or so, but if we had gotten married/had our son earlier, that would have been earlier too.

dh got a vasectomy right before his 31st birthday

My plan is to get my tubes tied during my c-section with #3. I just had #2 and I'm 26, so I'll be less than 30 (hopefully). Probably around age 28.

I will be 32 and my husband 33 when he gets his vasectomy in December. I'm torn about it, honestly. I know that we're done, but what if I die and he remarries? Or for some big, huge reason we decide we need to have more children? The second one happened to a couple I know after their younger child died at the age of 5, and now they have a daughter in college, and three more children under the age of 4.
I don't think age would make a difference in these questions, though. I just know that we feel done. But I do worry about the what-ifs.

We both just turned 30 in the last month, and DH is getting snipped this year. We're certain we're one and done, but we would have waited a bit longer (in case we reconsidered) if we didn't have medical reasons not to try again.

We are talking about DH getting a vasectomy in 2 years when he turns 40.

We decided to stop trying May of next year and get permanent birth control either way. DH will be 25 when he gets snipped. If he goes through with it.
