I think my dad retired earlier this year, so I was 28 yrs old when one parent retires. It will be another 10 years before my mom retires at the age of 65. So I'll be 38 when both parents retire.

I'd say in the next 19 years, before I turn 40 they will retire.

my dad maybe will when he is 65, so in like 9 years so I will be 33. my mom may before that.. but she won't be 65 for another 15 years! so i will be 39 then. she works from home though and has a super flexible/awesome schedule. my step dad is only 45.. so he has quite a while to go if he works till 65!!!
about 10 years left for DHs parents, so we'll be 34. -

My dad retired when I was about 6 or 7. It was fun growing up with my dad. Hence, I am a total daddy's girl. Mom is a housewife.

or my dad retired early. I was 20 when he retired, so 12 years ago. He's 67 now. My mom was a SAHM.

My parents are 20 years older than me, so 35-40. I'm not really sure.

I was 28 when my parents retired. They were in their 50's.

Mom doesn't work but my dad has his own practice and is semi-retired. He still works but there are days he doesn't go into the office, or just checks in in the AM. Since he just works for himself I doubt he'll ever really fully retire. He likes having stuff to do.

My dad retired when I was 22 (crazy), but he was a carpenter in the union so they retire a lot earlier than "normal". My mom will likely retire when I'm in my mid-30s.

My dad can retire at 60, or at 62 and get full medical benefits so, somewhere in the next 4-5 yrs? I'll be 36, max.
