I was 35 when my first child was born. If he has his first kid at 35, I will be 70 years old when I become a grandparent! Dang, there's no way I will live to see the grandkids graduate from college...

If DD has her first at 28 I'll be 56! My dad is 57 and my Mom is 50 now so not too far off!

My mom was 28 when she had me, her first. I was 30 when I had my first and her first grand. So maybe I'll be around 60?

@mrbee: That's only 88! You could totally live to 88!!
I was 33, so I'd be 66 if D has his first at 33.

i was 32, so potentially in my 60s. I'd be ok with teen pregnancies so i get to enjoy little babies sooner

@OldpuebloJenn: Oops, I read college but did the math for high school. But ok, 92. I'm seeing more and more patients in their 90s still living independently! We just had a 103 year old who was still living in her own home!

I was (almost) 26 when LO was born. If she has a LO at 26, she will be 52... just like my mom was!

If my oldest had his first when we did, we will be grandparents at 44.

I had my oldest at 35. I hope mine don't wait as long as I did...

If my oldest follows the same timeline as I did, I'll be 56. My mom turned 50 two weeks after my daughter was born and she became a grandparent. My husband had his first kid at 20, and my mil was in her late teens when her kids were born, so she was 40 when she became a grandma! If my stepson follows the trend of his family (hopefully not, obviously), my mil will be a great grandparent younger than many people become grandparents.

Hopefully not until my 60's. I hope LO waits until at least 30 to have kids.

I'll be 48 if LO starts a family at the same age. Most likely I'll be in my late 50's.

If my kids wait until 32 when I had them, I would be 64.
