It's decent. I usually get a cold each winter.

HOWEVER I discovered a secret weapon this year - vitamin D! I was prescribed it by my midwife, 5000 iu's a day, because my levels were low. I took it all winter long and didn't get sick ONCE this year, first time in my whole life! I was amazed.

I started researching the wonders of vitamin D and it turns out that it's the number one cause of the common cold/winter illnesses. The reason winter is dubbed sick season is because everyone's D levels are so low. Makes sense, right? I read a study that showed that taking vit D daily is actually 800% MORE effective than a flu shot. SCORE!

My immune system is awful! I eat pretty healthy and exercise 3-4 times a week, but I'm in a classroom with 17 four/five year olds every day. I'm hoping that eventually all the little kid germs will strengthen my immune system, but so far it hasn't happened. I was sick for all of December-February give or take a couple weeks.

I think it's decent. I get really sick once a year. It usually lasts 1-2 weeks.

I think mine is decent. But when I get sick, I get REALLY sick. My nails and tooth enamel are weak, though.

I think my immune system is pretty strong. I rarely get sick and even the times I've gotten colds, it's gone with a day or two. I just sweat it out and drink lots of OJ.

Well, I grew up with four siblings, went to public school, and have a mother that teaches kindergarten. I don't get sick often at all...I can't remember the last time I was was genuinely ill or had a fever ( knock on wood). I seem to get one or two colds a year now, and they go away in a few days.

In my experience, good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle go a long way in preventing sickness!

I'm great, thankfully- I haven't had anything more than a yearly cold in the last ten years or so. I have a couple mild contact allergies, but I'm not inclined to count those - the glue on plasters, and pine wood -. Weirdly I also have weak nails and tooth enamel, tho. I wonder is there a link somewhere!
Definitely I think gentle germ exposure is the key. Dh is far more fastidious than I am about not touching stuff in public and gets sick far more than I do.

Since I have a toddler not great. I need to take more vitamins.

I think it's pretty strong. It's been years since I got sick, well other than the flu I got this year. I blame that on getting the flu the same week I was scheduled to get the flu shot.
