Use a curling wand (i.e. a curling iron without the clamp). I swear by it!

@PETUNIA354 the set i have has two different sizes but i mostly use the bigger ones... it's just like the size of your curling iron, the bigger the rollers the bigger the curls. they're soo easy, once you put them up you can put on your makeup or eat breakfast then take them out. The curls really set well since they're held longer than wtih a curling iron, so they last sooo long (more than 24 hours, but i usually shower/redo them at 24 hours anyway)

@petunia354: what I ment was you're probably turning your iron the wrong way. You probably are putting your ends under the clamp and turning it away from the way you put it in the clamp, does that make sense?

You can also use a regular iron like a wand, just wrap your hair away from your face from root to ends.
