Going to the beach next week and it is supposed to be in the mid-sixties for the highs (luckily we don't go for water play!!). How do I dress my nearly 1 year old? I know my 3.5yo will be comfy in light weight pants and a t-shirt, or shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. But what do I do for DS? He only has one or two pairs of lightweight pants... would shorts and a hoodie work? Or would he be too cold?

mid sixties near the beach can be chilly if its cloudy and warm if its sunny. I say put him in lightweight pants, tshirt and a sweater.

I agree - I'd put him in pants, a t-shirt, and hoodie. I think he'll be too cold in shorts. Have fun!

It’s mid 60s every day where we live and LO is in leggings, and a t-shirt or ls shirt plus hoodie.

We live in the PNW and mid-60s means pants, boots, long sleeved shirt and a fleece hoodie!

Thanks, ladies! I am always so bad at dressing babies. He isn't running around so shorts would be too cold. It's funny though because I know when we go a few years from now he'll be wearing shorts in this weather. Seems like boys around here where shorts outside to play once it hits 60.
