Hellobee Boards

We had a similar attachment issue with the little girl I watched all last year. She and my DD were absolute little besties, like sisters really. Since I stopped watching her it has been hard on my daughter, and she still talks about her all the time so I know she misses her. In our case I take her to play groups with other kids she knows well almost every day. She loves these kids and has a great time with them, but I know none of them have replaced L because it's still her she talks about and asks to include in her bedtime stories. At the moment we still see her every week or so but we are moving overseas some time this year so that will change then. It has been reassuring though that although she obviously misses her friend, her behaviour has not changed at all and she doesn't get sad about it, she just carries on. Kids are very resilient.
Could you set up extra play dates with some of the other day care kids to encourage other friendships?
