We are going to load DH's ipad with video's as back for our upcoming beach trip. R is still RF. So how can we hang the ipad from the headrest?
Not giving her to hold it cause she never plays with it.

I've seen things that strap to a headrest... could you strap it to a rear seat headrest so the screen faces her? even if it's not directly in front of her, she should be able to see the screen...

We bought a mount from best buy on a road trip last year. I wish I remembered the brand because I don't recommend it. Shopaholic has a cute one. Ours is just not that sturdy. If you bump it the wrong way it breaks and the holder sleeve thing is a beeyotch to put on the iPad.

I bought a thing from thirtyone that holds the Ipad so B can watch it. Right now its full of toys and I haven't actually put the Ipad in it yet.
ETA: It attaches to the seat

Well, I tried finding a link to the one I got, but I can't find it now.
We got a back seat mirror where the mirror can come out and be replaced with an iPad. I swear it's Skip Hop, but I can't find it on their website.

I know in my car seat group, they say that nothing is to be used that could come off during a crash. We use a mirror, and that's a no no. The link above is for a device that's been crash tested, so it looks like a good option.

@aegie: I don't see any. But I wouldn't trust Zulily to get here in time. We are going in less then a month and their shipping is SO slow.

@Smurfette: We bought the JJ Cole one from amazon for less than $20. It's awesome!

We have had this one for almost 2 years, I think and it has held up well.

I just ordered this one: http://www.amazon.com/TFY-iPad-Headrest-Mount-Holder/dp/B008TLE1P2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408399307&sr=8-1&keywords=ipad+headrest+mount
Haven't used it yet to know if it's any good. I'm a little worried about the velcro not working well, but it gets good reviews. And the reviews I read of the ones that have plastic mounts say they break pretty easily and vibrate the screen while driving. And/or the iPad falls out.

We bought one a couple of years ago and it's still holding up- I think it's called a Gripdaddy.

I'd probably rig something myself with super-duty velcro and bungee cords lol.
