Ours was pretty typical/low key. Just went to the local playground, hung out at home, and then had our regular playdate earlier tonight. Charlie and Olive have so much fun at our friends' place because they have two kids the same age.
My mom is arriving Friday which means I need to clean this week!

My weekend was chill. Lots of eating, cooking, resting and spending quality time with my mom! She takes off this Friday 
Waiting to go into labor is torture.

It was good! Friday we had a Christmasy day so after DS got out of preschool and DH got out of a meeting we headed to the city to get photos taken with Santa, did some Christmas shopping, went to zoo lights at our local zoo and went to dinner. Saturday, we just did a lot of laundry and baked gingerbread men. Today, we went to church, went to Costco, organized the kitchen, frosted our gingerbread men and watched football.

Pretty good! We finally finished unpacking/decorating DD's new room since the move, spent time with in-laws, went on day dates...couldn't ask for more

Low key weekend for us as well. I sprained something around my hip area during a jog a did on Thursday. I think I'm going to need to apply some bengay tonight. Ahh, feel so old!

It was pretty easy going. We both worked too many hours yesterday, and I had about 2 hours of work to put in while at home today, but it wasn't so bad. Church was today and everybody kept talking about the fact that LO will be with us next time we go to church. We watched a movie and a few episodes of tv tonight, very chill.

@Mrs. Bee: It must be so nice to have friends with kids the same age as yours. I can't wait to go back home in January so LO can play with all of my friends' babies.
Weekend was tiring! LO almost prevented DH and i from going out on our date night! She wouldn't stop crying when we put her to sleep (this hasn't happened in like forever) but she eventually went to sleep. We didn't eat dinner until 8:30...i was famished! It was so nice to just get out and reconnect with DH, though we admitted it was a little strange. "We have a baby at home, right?"

Where did the weekend go is more like it!
We laid low on Saturday morning and then went out to lunch and shopping for some last minute gifts for a few hours. Then we hung out with family and my niece stayed the night and we made a TON of cookies! Today was more chilling on the couch since my sore throat seems here to stay for a while.

It was really good because N was in such a good mood even though she was sick. We had a rough night Friday where she was waking up coughing/crying every couple hours, so having a good Sat and Sun really made up for it.
We did normal things - hangout at home, nap, go to the playground, run errands, go out to eat... but her being in good spirits puts everyone in a good mood.

mr bee says his memory of the weekend is very different -- it was a hard weekend. charlie didn't nap on saturday and melted down at bedtime and was soooo naughty. then he was naughty sunday morning too.
i guess i don't remember that part as much since mr bee does Charlie's bedtime, and also I went to the playground with just Charlie on Saturday and he was the best little boy ever (even ate a huge lunch).
Funny how we experienced it differently!

We also stroller napped Charlie today so I spent over an hour in the rain pushing him around...
On both days, it was really hard to get him out of the bath...
We've had worse weekends, but this one was pretty tough I thought!

Ours was pretty low key as well. I spent both days Christmas shopping for my husband's family. I also bought Nicholas a ton of clothes from Old Navy for next year. We ate out a lot too bc we have all these restaurant deals that we need to use up bc we won't be around when they expire. Nicholas tried very hard all weekend to be good so he can watch Finding Nemo for the umteenth time.
@mrbee: I feel your pain! We have many days like that. I can't wait until the threes are over. I heard the fours are just slightly better...

It was ok. I'm kinda tired from it, haha. I don't stay up late often anymore, so being up late fri & sat took a toll. I don't feel like it was a super productive weekend, didn't do any Christmas shopping & didn't get our place clean. So it was a fine week end, but not an awesome weekend.

A little disappointing. We made a special trip in the slush (it got warm again) just to take pictures with the mall Santa and he wasn't there Turned out he was only there at "Christmas Town" on Dec 1 &2! I would have rather stayed home and rested if I had known. But we did get to do a little grocery shopping, so it didn't turn out so bad (but going to the closer mall would have been 10x more convenient)! Oh well. Maybe I'll edit a Santa in her pictures

@Mrs. Bee: @mrbee: you two are so funny! But that must be what it's like with two kids. You don't get the full picture anymore.
Our weekend was pretty chill. too. I cooked a bunch. And all we really did was have two play dates and DD's Mandarin class. However, any little activity exhausts me nowadays. Oh, we also decorated a gingerbread train. I never got to do that growing up so it was a first for me, too. It was fun!!

Good and bad.
Sat I did lots of cookie baking with my sil because she does Christmas so that was fun. And lo was actually very social and played with another little boy which is rare. Then we went to look at Christmas lights.
But Sunday dh and I both got sick, him with a fever and me with a migraine. My parents came and took lo for the day which sounds great..... But after the recent elementary school shooting I had a little freak out with her so far away from me

It was pretty good. Christmas party, went to look at 4 houses (none are the one), bought nursery furniture, dinner with friends, Christmas Sunday church service, lunch with friends, and then a lazy day addressing Christmas cards. Busy but it also felt really relaxing.

It was rough... Kids are sick.. Again. I'm worried DS is having a pneumonia relapse and am wondering if I will need send DD and DH ahead to the in -laws without us until DS recovers :-(. Boo for sickness. But I really can't complain after watching all those little CT school faces on the morning news. Perspective!

Tough weekend - my LO has his first cold, and he was miserable, so we were pent up inside most of the weekend. Luckily my mom was in town visiting so we were still able to go to DH's work holiday party and run a few errands.

Mine went well, while exhausting. I drove up to OK to visit my family since my brother was graduating from college. At dinner that evening, we announced our pregnancy to the family. Hubby let me sleep in and rest instead of going to the shop so I dozed off most of Sunday (I think it's the progestrone), and we delivered presents to various people later that evening.

It was great. My husband's sister and her boyfriend were here. SIL watched the baby a ton while I got things done around the house And even took a lovely nap on Saturday. And Saturday night we went out to eat for the first time and baby girl slept like an angel the whole time. Woo hoo!

Not too bad! I left work early on Friday and we went out and met with the realtor of the house we're building (holy balls...), then went to a winter parade at night. Saturday we had a family Christmas party to go to, and Sunday we got pizza (hell yes) and finished our wedding thank yous (fiiiinally).
