Saturday was meh. We stained the deck for most of the day and then went out for a walk, which was nice. Today started out well. We had brunch with friends and went to an arts and music festival. However, we parked in a parking garage which wound up costing $42 (ridiculous) and then we couldn't get out! The machine kept saying out ticket was expired and no one was answering at the office you're supposed to call with a problem. We wound up paying another $10 just to get out. LO was screaming in the car the whole time. Really aggravating.

I will totally commiserate on the sucky weekend. DH and I went to a wine festival and although it started off fun, it POURED and we ended up completely soaked (baby stayed dry...she got the umbrella lol). Then today we fought and i ruined cookies, and about an hour ago my mom told me she is getting married to a guy she's known for two months. FML.

Baby was still sick, so I stayed in and scrubbed the refrigerator and pantry from top to bottom. Man, it was gross. I'm a little embarrassed actually that it took the whole day. Today I did virtually nothing.

Sick teething toddler who cut 3 eye teeth in 3 days, along with a sick 8 week old. No fun here. And plans didn't go as planned because of the colds DH worked on DD's nursery(yes the 8 week old lol) so I was on baby/toddler duty all weekend. I'm tired and run down

ETA: I didn't answer the question. It wasn't bad. Wish it were longer, but it was pretty uneventful. Not ready for Monday, but I'm excited for my NT scan on Thursday!

Yesterday was great. We got up early to go to the goat races, E took a 3 hour nap (pretty much unheard of) and woke up in a great mood, and I was able to finalize our anniversary plans. And we realized that Netflix added the third season of Louie.

Today sucked. And I had a dream that I was pregnant and was about to have the baby and find out the sex when my real baby woke me up. Again. For the fourth time last night. E barely napped at all (35 minutes for his first nap, 15 for the second). He didn't want to be put down at all. He wouldn't let DH hold him for me than a second or two, it had to be me, no matter what I was trying to do. He spent the better part of the last three hours crying/screaming at us. And our car needs some repairs and we found out they're going to cost a lot more than we anticipated.

Mine was good and bad. The bad was that I had a debilitating migraine for most of yesterday. But the good was that before that, we took Lady M on her first pumpkin-picking experience. And today I spent the day in NYC with a friend, enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Mine was awesome and sucky.

We left LO with my mom Friday-Sunday so we could go away for our 5 year anniversary. We had an awesome Friday doing a bunch of wine tasting and a 5 course dinner. Slept in a little and had brunch Saturday morning and got a massage and more wine. That night we head out for the concert - it's been so windy all day and the high winds don't die down. After sitting out there for almost 3 hours Adam Levine comes out to confirm the show is cancelled bc of the high winds and now it's raining. Both my husband and I get super sick from being out in the cold. We had a great weekend but kind of sucked we paid concert rates for our lodging and the show is cancelled.

We were so excited to get home to see LO this morning. We decided to skip brunch and just drive home to see her before she went down for her nap. I missed her so much!
