So far it's great

Saturday - swim class in the morning then a trip to Costco and playtime in the backyard while DH grilled kal-bi for lunch. I ate so many lettuce wraps and LO had so much fun just playing in the backyard. She napped and then we ate a simple dinner in the backyard again and she passed out at bedtime which is rare when she takes a long nap

Sunday - we went to a farm where they have pony rides, small amusement park rides for kids under 5, antique cars on a track, petting zoo, a little steam train, and music show. LO loved it and now she's napping. We'll have dinner at our neighbor's for their daughter's birthday party and I'm leaving the party early to have a girls night out to celebrate my friends birthday.

@Smurfette: so glad it didn't rain til late on sat!

@autumnlove: I would love to have you over for dinner . We did kalbi with Bibb lettuce and the usual Korean style chili-soybean paste but also had this scallion salad that I LOVE...I use extra peppers and leave the seeds so it's a little spicy. Here's the recipe...you have to try it!

Fun, but exhausting. Went to a bachelorette party for my cousin.

Friday: Drove up after work and hung out with the entire bridal.party (including groomsen) drinking margaritas and getting to know each other.

Saturday: Brunch, we took a pole dancing class, drove into Boston, went out to lunch, checked into the hotel and got glammed up and played games, got on our party bus and went to a themed tapas bar for dinner, went from there to a drag cabaret show, and from there to a dueling piano bar/dance club. Got back to the hotel around 3, ate cake, passed out.

Today: Cleaning frenzy, brunch, then a 4 hour drive home. Now I'm trying to will myself into making food.

So tired and my feet hurt!!

@lawbee11: yes! Except no booze for this pregnant lady but I support lots of booze for everyone else this week who is solo parenting!

@lawbee11: you have the best ideas . I liked the whole 30 challenge you proposed last time...at first I was like what?!?! when I saw the title of the thread and then I was like YES I can consume an obscene amount of cookies in 30 minutes!

It was great apart from last night when DH and I had a blow up about LO's sleep

Yesterday I took LO to the botanical gardens, which she loved because she could walk around and see ducks and frogs, and today we went to IKEA which was great for me (fro yo and cinnamon bun, yuuum) and LO had so much fun running around the kids' showroom - who knew that would be her perfect day?
