I spent the 4th with my Dad and sisters! DH had to work of course he is an LEO
busy night and weekend!Saturday and Sunday super raining so I've been doing some organizing to my classroom files and such!
Nice and relaxing!

It was a weekend of mixed results over here...
Awesome: spending time with family
Not awesome: we were hit yesterday, and our car was totaled. Baby wasn't with us, thank God, but I'm bruised pretty badly. Also, buying a new car is so not in the budget right now. Blah

We had an amazing weekend. I was off wedn-sun and it was just so glorious. My cabinets look great, we went to the farmers market, pool, and splash pad a few times. MIL had us over for a BBQ (redd's strawberry ale and angry orchard elderflower cider are amazing by the way), and E let us sleep in until 7:00. Sad I gotta go back to work tomorrow

Not a holiday weekend here in canada but I had a great one anyway! I finally painted our awful fireplace
ETA: not quite done bc we're going to take the wood insert out, so it's rough around that.

Our weekend was exhausting but fun. Spent the time up in the Chicago area with family. The babies traveled really well! Unfortunately my mom headed home this morning.
I'm so sad that she won't be here with us. She spent all of June here and I'm going to miss her so much!

We had an awesome weekend, mostly because my H and I have had such crazy work schedules lately that we've hardly seem each other. Getting 2.5 days off together was sooo nice, even though we didn't do anything too exciting

We spent the 4th in DC at the zoo and eating delicious food! Tomorrow is dhs birthday so we were celebrating that too. LO thought it was her birthday all day though

I had an amazing weekend! Got to meet 4 bees & their LOs and got to spend 4 full days with my LO

We had fun. Friday and yesterday my brother came by to hang out. Today we did a cookout with the inlaws. Only downside is that my MIL drank a bit much and she tends to lose her filter and become quite honest when she drinks. Alchohol is like truth potion to her.

We went to visit DH's family. It was nice to be there, but H's sleep was AWFUL. She was waking up every hour and barely napping. I am so exhausted.

We spent all day Friday at the park. Vivi loved it. She kept chasing dogs yelling "Doooooogie!!"

The 4th weekend was fun here! We had people over for a cook out and fireworks. N had a great time playing my co-workers daughter. Big bonus for me was E didn't seem to mind the fireworks even tho he startles easy.
Yesterday we had a bit of a lazy day and then went to my co-workers party. N got to chase chickens around, which he loved. We left early because there was a lot of drinking happening.
Today we spent time outside cleaning up from our party on Friday and gardening. N liked helping but hated getting dirty. He is trip....lol

It was super scary-another man ran a red light, and we T-boned him. I've never been in a car where the airbags deployed before, and I hope o never have to again. I came out worse than DH, because I was driving and hit the steering wheel. The worst bruising is on my right arm and the underside of my right breast, both of which will make for an interesting week of work and pumping. But all things considered, it could have been so much worse. It was the first time DH and I went out without baby. Amazing how things work out.

Our weekend was good - DH is officially on his 5 week parental leaveeeee!! So nice to have him home. We just hung out and went to the beach!

It went well. We went on a spur of the moment road trip with 2 other couples. Didn't book hotels or anything till we got to our destinations. We started in Texas and drove to Houston, New Orleans, ended in Pensacola then drove straight home over a 4 day span. DS was a trooper for hanging in there with us!

It was fun but tiring! Had a bbq in the rain on Friday (we were all inside, poor DH grilled outside in the rain), went on a date with DH & my dad on Sat all day, went to a bunch of farms & fields. Sunday was our usual day of church & basketball games.
I wish I had today off too to recover!
