I'll be 37 weeks on our wedding anniversary this year. It'll be August and we don't have childcare but LO will be in daycare that day.
I'm thinking using 2 gc we have and going for a prenatal/couple massage and a nice lunch out! A movie at the theater <gasp!> if we have time

That's fun! Our anniversary is next weekend and so far I haven't planned anything b/c I don't know if I'll feel better by then! I don't want to plan something nice and be a party pooper.
The movie sounds great, since that won't happen for a while after #2 is born!

We did celebrate at 37 weeks! We went out to supper at the beach and then walked the sandbars. It was low key but wonderful

We went for massages for ours. I was 36 weeks. It was great. We grabbed some lunch afterwards and went home and took a long nap

Not sure, but I'll be 39w on our anniversary this year! Definitely won't plan anything non-refundable

With so much good that it's not even funny.
DH and I went out when I was 30w for our anniversary and we ordered appetizers, 3 entrees to share, dessert and *then* went to the movies after where got icecream and frozen coffees. Not super romantic or fancy at all but, I was the happiest pregnant lady ever.

I was 39wks for my 2nd anniversary We went out to eat but mostly just sat at home wishing my baby would come so I didn't have to be induced in 2 days as scheduled

Our 3rd anni I was 38 weeks! We just went to dinner at a nice sushi place. I couldn't do movies because I had a hard time sitting for so long being so pregnant....feet would swell extra bad etc

We celebrated at 38 weeks. We actually had a friends wedding the night of, but we ate cake and a glass if champagne...and that was about it!

if i was really worried about going into labour, i might just go into the city and get a hotel with fun amenities like a whirlpool, nice restaurant, etc. but that is partly because we make it a point to have a getaway every year on our anniversary. Otherwise an elaborate date night sounds fabulous!
