I think it was an overall good year for us! Our LO was born, DH got a career in his field, and we got to move back to our home town to be close to family. A few financial bumps along the way, but I can't complain

It's been the hardest year of my life emotionally. In January we found out about my DH's infertility, he had surgery in March, we've been to the doctor more times than I can remember, and have had 2 failed IUIs. I think 2013 is going to be a much better year.

It was great...we took LO home on New Year's Eve so this year has been all about her and watching her grow and watching each other grow as parents! I also stopped commuting so much and I work from home 4 days a week and we bought our first house.

It's been good and bad. DH got a job closer to family that pays more and LO was born. However, my FIL passed away unexpectedly. DH said it's the best and worst year of his life.

It's been a crazy year for us with some of the highest highs and lowest lows of my life.
Early 2012, we bought our first house. Then, in March, we got married. Shortly after the wedding, my dad became really sick and Spring/Summer was spent travelling to and from the hospital watching him fade away. In July, I was made permanent in a job I love - hurrah! In August we decided to try for a baby - which was amazing - and, In September, we found out we were expecting. A week or so later, I lost my dad and, the following day, I had a miscarriage. Those were dark days. Then, In November, my best friend had her first child, which was incredible, and then we found out we were expecting again!!
What a year!!!!

It started out very dark with a miscarriage in Jan. But in March we went on an amazing vacation to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and ended up conceiving again while away. The pregnancy was very difficult for me as I had a number of complications and was basically eternally stressed that we would lose the baby. But on Nov 26th we welcomed our gorgeous and healthy little girl and it doesn't get much better than that.

It's been one of the craziest/busiest years of my life, but also one of the best! DH and I bought our first house, I graduated from law school & passed the bar exam, and we topped it off with a BFP in December! Can't wait to see what 2013 brings.

Highest of highs with the birth of our daughter, buying a new house we love, moving closer to family, etc. And lowest of lows with my mom losing her job after 29 years and having to take a job where she travels for 13 weeks at a time meaning she missed my baby shower, birth of her first granddaughter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. My dad injuring his back and facing the possibility of never walking again and becoming the primary caretaker for my mean 83 year grandmother who is very demanding and rapidly going downhill in regards to her health.
