I waited until they make you pick a major, and then my mom encouraged me to do art because she thinks I'm good at it. I didn't have a better idea, so I did. Then I was ready to graduate and realized crap, I have a degree in art. What am I going to do with that?

So I went to the career center and took the test, which was no help. She kept suggesting things that I wasn't interested in, then finally showed me the list of majors and I saw art therapy. I asked what that was and she couldn't answer.

So I made an apt with the head of the art therapy department, she explained it to me, and it sounded right up my ally. And it is, grad school kicked my tush but I loved every second!
